Medieval manuscripts at the Getty Center

I saw the last manuscript exhibition a couple years ago. Very beautiful and inspiring.

If you are into pre-modern western art, the Getty Center, is definitely worth a visit. The Gardens are beautiful too.

Illuminated manuscripts are awesome. If I lived anywhere near there I'd go.

One of my friends is actually a Catholic Priest (I know...not what you would expect if you know me). He had AMAZING manuscripts that he had collected over the years. Surprising large number of them still lost in Mexico and southward. That was his job...to find them, analyze them for authenticity, and then send them to the Vatican.
