I know this isn't exactly a fetish but I can't be alone here. Awhile back I was taking Chantix to help me quit smoking (yes I am smoking again but will hoping to quit soon). Anyway....when I went to pick up the the script the pharmacist wanted to talk to me first. I thought it was odd but whatever. She started to explain the dreams and etc will be very vivid and wanted to warn me. She tried to be vague and her best description that it was like being on acid. Now I never been on acid what I am about to describe is like being on acid then sign me up. The dreams were so vivid that it was literally like it was actually happening. For instance, take any dream that you love and increase the perception of it being reality to a 1000; that is what being on Chantix is like. Anyway, my dream the entire time I was on it was fucking my mother.

Now I think about it, I can really turn this into a hot mom and son story. Hmmmm...will have to work on this one.

Sadly I am on anti depressants and the side effect is when I have an erection if I let my mind wander just for a fucking second I will be soft. It's fucking hell. All the other side effects from other pills were much worse!

I like your side effect though! Sounds like a wild night in your mind!

At the end of April last year I had pancreantitis and nearly didn't make it. While I was hospitalized my only sister was in a different hospital. She passed away 1 week after I got out. Due to that my doc put me on ambien for sleep problems. If I take a whole one it really knocks me out but man I have some wild dreams on that stuff. Zombies, armageddon type stuff. The worst side effect though is the possibilty of sleep walkin, sleep driving, or sleep sex. Hasn't happened yet but kinda scary to think about that. I have gone to bed and woken up in a different room or driven to work and not have a clue as to how I got there. Very disconcerting to say the least.

The doc also put me on an anti-depressant (sertraline) i think its generic zoloft. This one does have a sexual side effect, actually 2 possibilities. The first is erectile disfunction. The second one is less common. Its also the one I have. Dry ejaculations . Strangest feeling in the world. Everything is normal til you finish and then nothing comes out. The worst part is it doesn't happen all the time. Sometimes I can ejaculate sometimes i don't. Strange for my wife also. She will be giving me a blow job and I will climax but not ejaculate and she will ask if I really finished. I told her sometimes you feel like a nut sometimes you don't. Haha. First couple times it was kinda alarming. Now though it puts kind of a damper on things. Gives me some anxiety making me feel like I am not performing like i should. Really sucks.

Tamsulosin hydrochloride (comes under various brand names) can have a similar effect. It relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to urinate if you have an enlarged prostate. One side effect is that an ejaculation can get diverted into the bladder, coming out later when you pee.

I used Chantix to quit smoking 6-7 years ago and had some weird dreams and side effects.

Three decades ago I had a case of the shingles that, rather than a visible outbreak, attacked the vestibular nerve on my left ear. It caused totally unilateral pain on, one side of my head only, that was so bad it would knock me to my knees as well as vertigo that manifested itself as an up and down "yaw" perception.

I went through two general practitioners, an ENT, and finally a neurologist before they finally made a diagnosis. Along the way I had ABR s (audiometric brain stem response test), nerve induction studies and an MRI because they thought I had MS.

In any event, once the neurologist thought to run a varicella zoster titer and it was discovered that I had an invisible internal shingles outbreak, all they could do is treat the symptoms and pain with a cocktail of muscle relaxants and an old school tricylic antidepressant known as Pamelor (nortriptyline HC).

Pamelor had two side effects: One was that it made me stutter, my tongue would just get tied up, which wasn't good in my former line of work (law enforcement). The other was delayed ejaculation. I mean I could get it hard, and it would stay hard all night, but it took forever to ejaculate and when I did it was so intense as to almost be painful. Kind of nice for the ol' lady (my ex) at first but it became a bit tedious for both of us after awhile.

Zoloft gave me a similar effect. It took me a long time to cum, but felt great when I did. I am already on Viagra, so any ED effects were masked

I don't know if this counts, but...

I used to donate platelets to the blood bank on a regular basis. I discovered that, after the donations, I'd have these really intense orgasms when I masturbated. I remember posting this on one of the forums here, and got a few responses. One pointed out that it might have been because I was a pint low on body fluids; another wondered if it might have been something in the blood thinners/anticoagulents they used in the pheresis process.

The downside of this, by the way, is that my orgasms were intense but really hair-trigger short, sometimes before I'd even get fully hard. So as an aphrodisiac, it sucked.

With me it's psuedoephedrine. If I take Sudafed for a cold I tend to wake up at 3am feeling really restless and horny.

Hubby has a very occasional anxiety issue for which he'll take a benzo to even himself out. It'll cause him to have trouble either keeping a hard-on or cumming for a couple of days. Fortunately it's only once every 6 weeks or 2 months or so.

That, and it gives me weird dreams. Not scary or anything, but just disconnected random sequences that make no sense.

Proton pump inhibitors do this to me but not in a sexual way. Not in a good way! They also give me crushing migraines and make me very sick to my stomach.

V is for Vicodin

I cracked a tooth on a cherry seed at a popular chicken place a few weeks back.

I had to have root canal and our Dentist prescribed Vicodin. No one prescribes Oxy any more it seems...

I had forgotten just how turned on it makes me, but wow!!

Does just the opposite for me ... makes me nauseated, screws up my digestive system big time ... but it does kill the pain.

Not certain its the drug...

I am a light sleeper that watches the clock all night. I was prescribed Temazipam for sleep.

I have slept a little better, so I don't know if it is the pill directly or just being able to actually achieve REM state.

But have awakend in the early morning from full ejaculation wet dreams. (Weird dreams too.)

My husband took it, he didn’t like the dry mouth every morning. I didn’t like his sleep eating. Seriously he ate a whole box of Nutty Bars.

I tried it 3 times and also didn’t like the dry mouth in the morning..

Oh, yes.. Definitely a problem. And... Seriously... A dry mouth and wet pants?

But my sleep routine is so screwed I have to take something. :(

EDIT:I did notice the "munchies" thing early on and stick to a glass of milk and a few graham crackers. Not great, but better than a whole box of nutty bars.

Was taking Champix when trying to quit smoking.

While talking to friends about this I recounted the vivid dreams. They replied that they had heard about sexual dysfunction with this drug.
I replied “yes, there is dysfunction”.

I can’t get it down . . .

I occasionally use Simply Sleep to help me sleep and find that I battle to get hard and almost impossible to stay hard for a few hours until the drug has worn off.
