Was going to make it immortal in general but figured elf is more fitting
Short version: elf takes advantage of her immortality to mess with people.
For example:
Elf is a great hero and MC reveres her and loves her. To MC’s great shock, elf accepts their confession of love and even marries them. As they lie with each other, elf asks if MC loves her and as soon as they do: she whips out a crystal and MC suddenly remembers a past life where they hated the elf and rejected her advances.
Elf gets up, dabs on them. And runs off saying it was worth playing the hero for centuries until their former crush reincarnated.
Or:
Elf begins long centuries spanning by schemes to get people to fuck.
“Well hero, how does it feel to have fucked your own grandma?”
