I've never quite understood the nurse outfit fetish either... I concur that it's hot and I get the medical fetish (being examined by someone sexy!) but I've never ever SEEN a nurse actually WEAR one. It's all scrubs. Which are hot in practice but I dunno, when you see them all the time they get old.

As for me... I clean things. But I'm thinking about becoming an RN. I'm definitely wired for it, just my needle paranoia is keeping me away.

Lab coats are great, though, and with rubber gloves... mm. But maybe I should make a thread for my mad scientist fetish.

I think the nurse outfit is a bit "bygone times," like the French Maid. Those outfits were worn by nurses back in a day when the power dynamics were very different. Almost Victorian. And yeah, when I see scrubs I tend to think of intubation. Not sexy at all.

I wonder if the lab coat doesn't have some resonance with the same dynamic, that sort of person-in-authority badge.
