I have some maple - bourbon bacon curing in the refrig out in the garage. Currently, it's still technically pork belly. It will become bacon when I smoke it over apple wood this weekend. Never used Makers Mark Cask Strength before, but what the hell. It'll either be really good, or a waste of 10 lbs. of pork belly and some good bourbon.
