I didn't know exactly how sad, till I came here..........

*and more hugs*

I'm glad you're here.

I'm glad I'm here.

Hugs to you right back, N :)

How have you been? Haven't seen you post in a while.

Neither of you are alone. Open a window...feel the breeze...carried on the wind are thoughts of love from people around the world...including me.

Me too Nathon.

Can't stop crying today. Wish I wasn't alone.

*hugs*

You're not alone, Ruby. You got us. =)

Tears keep coming

I've been reading and posting to threads like this all day and the tears just keep coming - but not as bad as a year ago. Even though I'm by myself right now I know that my feelings are being felt and shared by so many others all over the country.

NO! WE WILL NEVER FORGET! NOT EVER!

I don't feel sad today. I watched a bit of the coverage this morning, it may have caused a little sadness, at first. But then I started to get angry. After a while I had to cut the TV off and find something else to do.

I am mad at those who supported the terrorists, and still do.

I am mad at those who would shield or hide them, like our 'friend' Saudi Arabia.

I am mad at those who would offer to explain the acts as an excuse.

I am mad at those who would blame my country for what happened.

I am mad at those who will not let me back in the military. I want to go. I am a combat vet, let me do my thing.

I am mad at those who think this is all one big joke.

I know I am not alone. There are a lot of people out there who think like I do, not just men any more, but women also. We have served our country. We have the scars to prove it. We were willing to fight and die, we still are. We know what our brothers and sisters are facing right now in Afghanistan, and soon in Iraq, maybe other places.

I am proud of them. I am proud of the kids who don't think it is a joke to support and fight for our country. So many kids today do think it is a joke. Too bad, they will never understand the truth. You can't argue with them, they don't want to hear anything that might upset their safe little hole they live in.

Any crying I do today will be from frustration...
