my husband was well and truly shocked the first spring we were living in London when, on the first warm sunny day of the year (surprise, there are some) it seemed as if a good third of the young female population of the town had forgotten to put on their bras before heading into the office. He has never fully recovered.

That said, here are one or two things I have noticed along these lines: there are many women wandering the streets of London who are not wearing bras but really, really should be; and that office-worker type women in London dress a lot (A LOT) less professionally and more sluttily than women in New York. I appreciate how this might be appealing to their male counterparts, however, I do wonder how these half naked chickies expect to have anything that comes out of their mouths at work taken seriously in any way.
