Okay, the basic plot is:
Young guy, was involved with a young woman who turns out to be REALLY bad. She asks him to drive her and some of her friends somewhere, but it turns out to be to vandalize some property. He gets caught, gets community service. Since he's in Culinary school, the judge orders him to work in a soup kitchen on his weekends. While there, he gets caught up in the good work being done there and goes out of his way to make the place work better, feed more folks, and, naturally, along the way, he meets and falls in love with a co-worker. He's VERY reluctant at first, but eventually is won over. Happy ending! TA DA!
