James Murdoch, the former 21st Century Fox CEO, resigned from News Corp.'s board Friday afternoon.

The son of founder Rupert Murdoch, and brother of Fox Corp. CEO and News Corp. Co-Chairman, Lachlan Murdoch, cited editorial differences.
