may i ask some advice

im pretty new here and a friend has told me i should try posting some of my poetry, its not sexual in any way but i cant seem to find the correct place to post my work.

can a friendly soul direct me to where i should be looking please.

please note i did read the sticky at the top but could only find such things as authors and editors... not submitting poetry just about stories...

it will say

tells you your user name, your last login date, your creation date, and the email you have registered.

then it says:

- Edit Your Options - turn on an off your email, allow anonymous contact, etc.

- Submit Work - click here to submit a story, article, or poem.

Select "- Submit Work - click here to submit a story, article, or poem."

next it says

Submit Story submit a story to the site.

Submit Poem submit a poem to the site.

select to submit a poem.

Next just follow the steps and copy/paste your poem into the bigger blank spot. Under "category" be sure to select Non-Erotic Poetry

You should be golden.
