As the topic title suggests, this post is about the 14th of May. It will be 2 years since we heard anything on the Chyoo front page. Something is coming on May 14th though! I am expecting the birth of my second child. My first kid is 3 1/2 now, and since his birth my chyoo writing has been pretty scarce. Before I had any kids, I use to write a lot on this website. But, back then it was a bee hive of activity. In the last couple years many people have come and gone in Chyoo. I'd like to send honerable mention to those that have stuck in there the whole time.

Anyway, that's all. lol. I know this was kind of pointless, but I wanted to point out that Chyoo 3 is coming... maybe in 2 more years.

Your first child's now 3 & 1/2 Tim. It really doesn't seem like that much time has passed.

I really should actually maybe write something, although I have a new story in the works. I also have another project which I'm pursuing which actually started out on Chyoo.

The treatment Chyoo gets from it's parent site is fairly appalling on occasion.

Chyoo is kept alive by the members and mods but it's like a bastard child to Manu and Lauren.

Tip of the hat to you, Tim. And congratulations as well. The time has past so fast, and yet I've come to expect litttle more than what we have now. I've enjoyed writing stories and threads, and hope to continue to do so.

For about the past 4-5 months I've submitted little. Work, life commitmits and writer's block have all contributed to the abscence of my submissions. At some point in the near future, I hope to dive back in.

Until then, I'm gratified by the great writers who continue to add threads to my stories, and to them I give my deepest thanks.
