Trophy second wife moves into her new husband's existing home, which he previously occupied with his first wife.

She quickly learns that he will not agree to any change in the decor- "It's just the way that I like it, why change anything?"

What happens next?

New wife changes stuff while Dude is at work, but it's always changed back when he comes home. New wife can't figure out why or how. Then Dude explains.

Dead wife haunts the place. He can't change stuff because her ghost won't let him. During altercation Dead Wife spooks New Wife who falls down stairs and breaks her neck.

Dude finds himself living in the movie "Death Becomes Her".

Litication of the story has them going to the spa for rejuvenation and enhancements, magic boob creams and what-nots, some of which go comically awry.

I guess it depends how you parse the title. Put quote marks around the first four words and it works.

This sounds a lot like the Hitchcock movie, "Rebecca." Which I believe is being remade soon.

Hey, if you rip off schlock it's plagiarism, if you rip off the Master, its an homage...
