Matt groans when he hears the alarm go off, reaching out to bring his hand down on the snooze button, resisting the call to get up. He rolls over, burying his head back into his pillow trying to go back to sleep. He slides a hand towards the other side of the bed, then moves it around when it doesn't come into contact with another body. He starts to lift his head to look, but then he hears the sound of the shower and the sound of humming. He smiles to himself, Gracie is one of the few morning people he can bear to be around. He hates mornings, but that is, until he sees her smile.
With a groan, he pushes himself upright and stretches in the bed. Pushing his feet out from under the covers, he turns, placing them on the floor and standing up. Reaching out to turn the alarm off, he slips his boxers off, tossing them into the hamper, then makes his way into the bathroom, rubbing his eyes as he does.
As he squints in the bright light, he smiles again as Gracie's humming gets louder with him in the same room. He quickly brushes his teeth and goes to the bathroom before slipping into the back of the shower.
