Okay, I'm bored so I thought I'd post this to see what kind of reaction it'd get.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who's ever had some 'friend' attempt to set him up with some family member or something. Since moving to Arkansas, My Neighbor has strongly attempted to set me up with one girl.. Who well, I always ducked these things lol. Though, I did want to go out just as a friend.. But in the first attempt, This girl? oi... 19, Very Immature and well misguided, my neighbor tricked me into meeting her over at their house. I just kinda sat in the corner saying something here and there until my neighbor kicked us out for some 'alone time' dear god... I really just wanted to get home but I'm a gentlemen so I waited for her and escorted her back to her car and we chatted some.
We both agreed it'd be nice to catch a movie, she mentioned she'd bug me the next time she was around. So "Drive safely, have a good night" and all that jazz. Never heard from her. Anyway, Later I learned that she shacked up with this 16 year old boy. She was staying with this family and was apparently having late night bouts of teenage passion.. On top of that?? She got really sick, then got my neighbors sick who got me sick.. *shudders* anyway, she thought it was true love and was apparently having unprotected sex and didn't see the problem in getting pregnant because her young love would support her.. yeah right.
Thats something that scares me about Arkansas, people talk about that stuff so openly.
It's one thing to discuss it online but lol. Anyway, I later met her new boyfriend, a 21 year old brother to the 15 year old.. I sometimes wonder if she was diddling both of them. He was a huge idiot.. Molesting this girlfriend of hers 'accidentally' and some other things I wont mention. But oh yes, my neighbor wanted to fix me up with her too. *sigh* though she was a bit more pretty and mature I give her that much.
Anyway, a few weeks ago.. My neighbor started rambling on again. "You know, I'd really like to fix you up with my cousin, she's a nice girl.. but she's already seeing someone.. She really needs some guidance." I just blinked, Do I look like a therapist? lol Its sometimes hell being the nice, upstanding guy.. But the next one she mentioned was more scary. "my other cousin though,
she's 15 but looks 20!" I was shocked... I'm not a rapist either. That just.. thats so wrong, but I am in the Ozarks so.. It never seems to end.. Why can't someone attempt to fix me up with a nice, normal girl of my own age?? lol.
Not that I date anyway. So, Anyone have any strange stories of being set up or someone attempting to play match maker that was just.. scary?
