what is that all about?

i see people saying they are someones slave. why does that excite people?

You have to have a submissiver personality to understand. People who don't just dont get it but thats ok. We can't all be sub.

Hiya Hunny, good to see you here trying to educate those who don't "get it" I am a Dom and have had slaves in the past and most people just don't "Get it"

I think anyone who is in that situation and wants to understand could do no better than to speak to Domain Master and/or Emes at the moment they seem to be the happiest partnership I have seen on Lit for some time!!

Kara, you will see Emes on the UK's online Directory if you haven't already met her, I'm pretty sure she'd love to make your acquaintance if you are of the same mind as her?

i do have a Master that i love very much, unfortunately, my situation is rather rocky at the moment, that is why i haven't made it to terribly known that i am a slave. Yes, i have met Emes and she is a sweetie.

edited to insert slave instead of sub because there is a difference and i don't want to mislead anyone.

There is a fantastic library on the BDSM Talk thread that can answer any questions you might have. My suggestion would be to start there and then post any other questions you have on the BDSM Talk board. You can also scan through posts on that board to find more information.

Master and slave is only one small aspect of BDSM and D/s relationships. While I am submissive, I am not a slave, so I can't really answer your question. But there are those on the BDSM Talk board who can. A word of advice: Please don't post questions on that board if your intent is to criticize lifestyle choices. If your intent truly is to learn, then people in that community will be happy to answer your questions.

i love being a slave, having a strong Man to watch over you and guide you.

I agree....its hard to explain to someone who has no knowledge of the lifestyle.

I, like Kara, have a Master. He guides me and seems to know me better than i know myself. I love to serve Him when i can and will do so as best i can.

It's not so much that it's hard to explain to someone with no previous knowledge in BDSM; after all, what is school if not an institute of learning; but it is hard to explain to someone who has no desire to understand/learn.

i agree with the knowledge part but don't you almost have to be drawn to it too. It is not for everyone thats for sure.

Exactly! I am naturally submissive and my being slave to Master, to me, is a follow on from that. Its not something i think you can learn to be, it has to be inside you to start with.

Yes, I was drawn to it before I even understood what it meant to be a submissive. Once I started really looking into it and reading all I could find it was like a light going off in my head and I finally understood who I am and what the problem has been all these years.

I met my Dom on Lit and together we are exploring D/s and the lifestyle. He isn't a Master yet, but I have no doubt he will be once we're in real life. And I'm hoping with his training and my determination to become a very good slave.

Looking back i realise that i have been submissive for a long time....long before i ever really knew it existed. Like you, once i found out more about the lifestyle, the light went 'ping' and i realised thats what i wanted....and needed.

i wish you all the best in your training....and i hope you both will be very happy together!

i am struggling in my relationship but it is not due to the Master/slave part of the relationship.

i have been sumissive my entire life but i never knew there was a word for it. i just have always been a follower, more then a leader.

I don't know...
It just does.

have a nice evening, Hanon. :rose:

There is also Gorean relationships.bsdm to different level, but I agree no matter what the desire has to be there.

BTW, Dom/sub, and Master/slave are different

Which is why I mentioned someone has to have an interest in BDSM to understand it.
