-OOC: Theme warning! This story deals heavily with non-con scenes and is driven by them. It also has over the top sex scenes with fantasy beings like dragons and monsters. None consent scenes drive this story. Keep this in mind while reading.-
In the land of the Flaming Expanse, no soul is really ever safe.
It is said that the land was originally birthed from the battle of two dragons who were in a 100 year war with one another. From the blood that both of them spilled life emerged. Tainted, violent life, made from pain and struggle. Orcs, minitour, kraken, troll, and all other sorts of beast came from their blood and these creatures were forever drawn to anger and rage because of it.
It is said that both of these dragons still live, Dire, the Soul of the Earth, and Node, the Soul of the Sky, both from time to time causing havoc and death, and both still dreaming of a way to kill the other.
In such a cursed land life can be very short, but if one is good with a blade or good with a bow, one can make a good living on bounties on beasts. There is never a shortage of things that need to be killed in this land. Man is a stranger to this land, but none the less they have expanded into it like they do everywhere else. The beasts of the land don't want them here, but they stand and fight for their place all the same.
One such being, a collector of bounties and a killer of beasts is Rebecca Valencia. Also known as Becca V. Unfounded rumor tells that she has run across Dire, the Soul of the Earth, in the past. And an even more shocking story is that she wishes to kill the beast. Such a thing is thought to be impossible for a mortal, but none the less, she walks the cursed land, picking up bounties here and there.
At a local pub giving out cheap drinks the bar tender nods to her as she enters, pointing out a board on the wall for bounties. It is clear from the weapons she has what her profession is, and the town would be glad to have another hero try their luck in hunting one of the many local nightmares walking the land. None of the past heroes have been very lucky, most ending up very dead, but if you are good enough with a blade you can survive, you just must be good enough.
