Massachusetts Elections: I just don't get it.

In all projected senate and house elections Democrats are winning by a landslide. It's not even CLOSE!

So why are we electing a Repulican Govenor AGAIN?

I'm not debating Democrat vs Repulican. I'm just saying it doesn't make any sense to me and I'd love it if someone could explain it.

Use small words. I'm having a dumb week.

Here in Michigan it's just the opposite. Most of the various "lower" positions went to Republicans but the Governor and (at least one) Senate position went to the Dems.

That's okay, I'm feeling generous this year.

I didn't really want to keep more of my money.

Oh please. Republicans raise taxes. They just promise not to first and then do it anyway.

Taxes are going to be raised. The question you should ask yourself when you vote is: "Where do I want my tax money to go".

My thoughts exactly. i didnt even vote for a governor because i was sick of all the foolish tv ads, sick of all the mudslinging...it was just bullshit. too bad the country is gonna go to hell in a handbasket now that the republicans have control...but whatever, its all crap anyways.

Why did it happen?

hmmm.. Because O'Brien didn't address ANY of the questions she was asked at the debates that were held and the items she did bring up were so easy to see through it was pathetic? (Like her "outrage" at the idea of school vouchers..)

Because she kept pushing the abortion issue as some big deal claiming Romney was going to outlaw abortions after Romney said 30 or 40 times that he didn't want to touch the existing laws?

Because 20% of our kids can't pass the state test required for graduation yet she had NO plan to deal with it?

Because the only issue she did raise was that instead of calling her a bitch her opponenet said her bitching was "unbecoming"?

Maybe because 85% of the state legislature are Democrats that are never going to leave office and are led by the one man that done more to thwart the will of the voters than anyone in modern MA history?

The most interesting part of the MA race was that on Monday Stein (Green Party) supposedly had 15%-18% of the vote yet she ended up with only 3%. Why did the Greens jump ship and vote Republican? Voting Dem would seem to have been the obvious choice for them but they didn't. What did O'Brien do to piss them off?

Yeah, Mitt Romney is a pretty charasmatic guy, i will admit. That did alot for him, thats for sure.
