Masks and education.

I agree Thor. Understand...my criticism is directed toward you posting a link that dismisses the severity of this virus...not because of the virus...but because human choices have made the effects of the virus far worse. We are looking at real US mortality near one million as of today...not all cases are being counted...but we can estimate the true number quite accurately.

You and I have had many highly intelligent conversations in the past. Not as Dribble...but as coastalboy. I have a PhD with an expertise in genetics. I think I know far more about this than the average "expert".

On a side...I felt actual pride when Jacoby won her gold medal. I know how important that moment was for your state. She epitomizes what the Olympics should be.

There were a couple of those other illness that scare the shit out of me and if I had to choose, I'd choose covid over them. If you've not read accounts of the SS Harmony's visit to Laborador, the aftermath is truly grisly.

Lydia did great in Tokyo. Seward is a small town and I have a few family roots, there. Even in Anchorage, we were cheering when she did well and felt her anguish when the googles slipped off her eyes (hence the double cap on the more experienced competitors). I'm hoping she handles the fame like Kikkan Randall, who gives a lot back to the community.
