I am moving this thread to the ORP from the SRP, however, since it's location has changed, sex will no longer be allowed in the thread. You can refer to the fact that characters have become intimate, but no explicit details. Like, for example:

They walked down the hallway, unable to keep their hands off each other. When they got in the room, Jill shut the door, pushed Jack onto the bed, and they made love all night long.

If you want to detail it out more than that, do so through PM and not in the thread.

Characters can be Mutants or Mutates, heroes or villains. Before I go into too much detail, here's a timeline of the Jeffverse version of Ultimate Marvel:

3000 BC: En Sabah Nur is born in Akkaba, Egypt. He is one of the first humans to be born with an X-Gene, and displays many powers as he reaches adulthood, including immortality.

2980 - 2000 BC: En Sabah Nur seeks others like himself, gathering a group of followers. These early Mutants pose as gods, becoming the Egyptian Deities of legend.

1500 - 800 BC: There is a war between the Mutants, leaving very few alive. These remaining "gods" relocate to Greece, where they become the Titans.

700 - 100 BC: En Sabah Nur, going by the name Cronus, is eventually overthrown by his sons Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon. He and the other Titans are thrown into an Abyss and locked away. After some time, Nur kills the other Titans and takes their powers, making him strong enough to break free. Using these new abilities, he takes on his sons and daughters and their offspring, thus slaughtering all the Greek Gods and taking their powers. However, one Mutant named Merlin is able to seal Nur up again, and this time, he is unable to break free.

6 BC - 0026 AD: Nur is able to reach out mentally to a woman named Mary in Israel, and convinces her he is God. He tricks her into accepting the spirit of his son, who in fact, is him. Thus, Nur is reborn as Jesus of Nazareth. As this savior, he is able to use his powers openly, though in the new body they are no where near as powerful as they were before. After the crucifixion, Nur leaves the body and resumes his normal form, though he does shapeshift to look like Jesus to convince people he has been resurrected, then departs again.

0027 - 0300: From the shadows, Nur plays as different gods for different regions, purely for the fun of it, pitting some religions against others. Merlin tries on numerous occasions to reseal him, but fails each time.

0400 -- 1400: Merlin and Nur have many battles, both being immortal. During this time, Nur takes the name Apocalypse, and nearly succeeds in his plans to conquer the world, but in the end, Merlin is finally able to seal Apocalypse deep within a pyramid in Egypt, where he would lie for over 700 years. Over the next century, Merlin seeks out others with abilities, and helps them use their powers.

1400 - 1800: More and more Mutants surface, and many of them are killed as witches, warlocks, or demons. Eventually, Merlin grows bored with eternity, and retreats within a white marble tomb deep beneath the ground, where he enters a deep sleep. Miles above his tomb, the colonies turn into what would be New York City.

1800 - 1944: More Mutants are born than ever before. In 1941, a new government agency is assembled to use blood samples from humans with abilities to create the Super Soldier Serum. This agency, eventually called S.H.I.E.L.D. (Superhuman Hazard Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division), gives the Serum to Army Colonel Steve Rogers, who becomes Captain America. They create several other Super Soldiers, as well as recruit Mutants -- it was S.H.I.E.L.D. that discovered the X-Gene, and came up with the name Mutant for bearers of the X-Gene, and Mutates for those given powers by genetic engineering.

1945: In the final battles of WWII, Captain America and Red Skull are both killed when the facility they are fighting in is blown up.

1946 - 1980: After World War II, the Super Soldier program is shut down, but S.H.I.E.L.D. remains active to deal with Mutants and existing Mutates.

1980 - 1990: A thief manages to steal the old Super Soldier Serum, and sells it to several buyers on the black market, including Norman Osborn, Justin Hammer, and several people in other countries.

1994: The first one to perfect a new version of the serum, Justin Hammer orders his three lead scientists -- Richard Parker, Mary Parker, and Edward Brock Senior -- to experiment upon the homeless boys he kidnapped. Refusing, the three of them are killed, and the boys are experimented on anyways. Only three of the boys survive -- Flint Marko, Maxwell Dillon, and Morris Bench, who later become known as Sandman, Electro, and Hydroman, respectively. Edward Brock leaves behind a son, as do Richard and Mary -- Peter Parker, who is 4 years old at the time. He goes to live with his Uncle Ben and Aunt May.

1995 - 2007: Norman Osborn, angered at Hammer's success, goes a different route, and uses the serum to create what he calls the Oz Compound, experimenting on lab mice and other creatures. Things take an interesting turn in November 2007 when Peter Parker, during a field trip to Osborn Industries, is bitten by a spider that had been injected with the Oz Compound and had escaped. Over the following weeks, Peter develops spider abilities, eventually becoming Spider-Man.

Also during this timeframe, Charles Xavier starts teaching Mutants to use their powers at his mansion and creates the X-Men; Erik Lehnsherr recruits into the Brotherhood of Mutants, which is headquartered on the tropical island he calls Savage Land; Tony Stark produces a super suit and becomes Iron Man, the field leader of a new group of superheroes under S.H.I.E.L.D. jurisdiction, called the Avengers; General Nicholas Fury becomes the new director of S.H.I.E.L.D.; a Mutant experiment code-named Weapon X escapes S.H.I.E.L.D. custody. The Mutant -- going by the name Wolverine -- flees into the Canadian wilderness, where he hides for six years, living with the wolves. General Fury enlists the help of the X-Men to find him.

2008 and on: Four months after Peter becomes Spider-Man, Osborn takes a sample of his own blood, mixes it with Oz, then re-injects himself with it. The result: He turns into a huge green monster that can leap high and far and shoot out fireballs. Otto Octavius, Osborn's head scientist, is damaged in the blast caused by Osborn -- his metallic arms used for experiments are permanently bonded with his central nervous system, effectively giving him four extra limbs coming out of his back. He falls into a coma for a time.

After the construction of Cerebro, Xavier is able to locate Wolverine, and leads his X-Men to hunt him down. Nick Fury goes to join them, leaving Deputy Director Carol Danvers in command of S.H.I.E.L.D. Meanwhile, the Avengers have their hands full dealing with an upsurge of new Mutates -- after the explosion caused by Norman Osborn, traces of Oz Compound are caught in the fires, and rise into the sky with the smoke. The smoke drifts over New York, turning into a green cloud. Many people inhale the Oz Compound in the smoke before it finally passes. Some have immediate reactions, others have mutations that surface after a few hours or days, and others have yet to develop any mutations. For those effected, the abilities granted are as varied as with Mutant powers. Some victims only develop powers when their blood is introduced to a foreign source, such as a man being caught in a fire and gaining the ability to control flames, or a woman being bitten by a snake and then becoming a human/reptile hybrid.

To help combat the swarms of Mutates on the streets of New York, the Avengers put up advertisements where ever they can, desperate to increase their numbers. Spider-Man eventually joins after taking on many enemies by himself.

So, this game will have two starting points -- one will be with the X-Men hunting down Wolverine, and the other will be with the Avengers. The Brotherhood of Mutants, led by Magneto, is trying to get to Wolverine first to recruit him. Meanwhile, in New York City, the Green Goblin recruits evil Mutates, and forms a team he calls the Dementors. Otto Octavius wakes and becomes Doctor Octopus and Osborn's second in command.

Eventually, Wolverine heads into New York, leading his pursuers into the city as well. Magneto joins forces with Osborn, and they unite evil Mutants and Mutates under a new massive team of villains -- the Brotherhood of Dementors. To combat this new threat, Nick Fury, Charles Xavier, and Tony Stark unite the X-Men and Avengers into a new group called the Ultimates, hence the name of the game.

After the formation of the Ultimates, they construct the Triskelion, a massive compound built by S.H.I.E.L.D. on an artificial island in the Upper New York Bay. It contains docking facilities for ships up to the size of aircraft carriers, airstrips, and several buildings, primarily a large three-winged tower. It houses a hospital facility, laboratories, barracks for S.H.I.E.L.D. troops, at least one squadron of fighter jets, and specialized holding facilities for superhuman prisoners. Xavier builds the Xavier Institute of Advanced Studies (referring to the study of learning one's advanced abilities) on the island, and invites all the mutants living in his mansion to the school. With government funding through S.H.I.E.L.D., Xavier is able to hire professors and have a maximum of 800 students enrolled at a time, however, the student body usually does not exceed 400. S.T.R.I.K.E., the European version of S.H.I.E.L.D., will follow suit and create a similar school.

As for later story arcs, here are some of my ideas:

Cable and Bishop come back in time from the future to warn them about the Sentinels, and then the characters can somehow get lost in time. We could get a HUGE story arc out of that. After they fuck up the timeline a few times, we can have Doctor Strange sense distortions in the Space-Time Continuum, and he can use his powers to correct history, sending the characters to the moment before they jumped back in time, but also sending Cable and Bishop back to the future.

Another idea I had is that after several attempts to kill Apocalypse (which doesn't work because he keeps regenerating), they somehow turn him into a big crystal, and break him in half. Apocalypse's voice comes from and crystals and says "That will not stop me -- once I pull myself together, I will destroy you all!" to which they reply, "Good luck pulling yourself together." They lock each half inside an iron chest, then take them to the north and south poles. See, as long as his body senses pieces of itself exist, it won't generate new limbs and parts, but will seek to reunite with it's former pieces. Of course, if his limb is destroyed and thus the body can't sense it, it will grow a new one. The heroes will realize this, and thus by keeping the two parts separate, Apocalypse's powers are downsized -- he can't change back from the crystal until his two halves reunite. This works for a while, but eventually, the two halves lose their connection and become two separate beings. Suddenly, the world is attacked by a psychotic version of Apocalypse, who lacks the honor, intelligence, and reason of his former self -- he appears to be in a constant berserker state, laughing like a maniac as he destroys everything in sight only for the fun of it. This half doesn't speak much accept for the occasional "Bleed! I want you all to bleeeeed!!!" or "Power! Destruction! CHAOS!!!" or "Anyone who meets my eyes must die!!!"

The heroes deduce that if all his evil ambitions went to one half, all his good ones must have gone to the other. They go to the north pole and discover this half has indeed become independant and self-aware, but due to guilt for the crimes of his past, he chose to remain in exile. They finally convince him to stop his evil half, which he evenually does, killing him forever. For fear of returning to his evil ways or someone making a clone of him in the future, he prepares to destroy himself as he did his evil half, but in the end, they convince him not to do that by giving him the Mutant Cure, but due to his sheer power, it does not completely cure him, but takes him down to a level closer to others on the team, and gives him the appearance of a normal human.

I was thinking that due to his thousands of years worth of knowledge, he could become a professor at the school, and after Xavier's eventual death, he'll run the school. In light of his new outlook on life, this half of Apocalypse will take the name Wyatt Lightwalker, referring to the fact that he walks in the light and not the dark. Eventually, he becomes an active member of the Ultimates, taking the superhero name "Whitelighter," because after taking the cure, his most powerful ability is to create and manipulate light and produce bright energy balls, blasts, and force fields.

My active characters will be: Spider-Man, Iron Man, Wolverine, and Iceman.
My semi-active characters (meaning limited or occasional appearances and activity in the story) will be: Nick Fury, Carol Danvers, Charles Xavier, Magneto, Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Sandman, Hydroman, Electro, Cable, Bishop, Apocalypse, and Doctor Strange. I will only do bios for my four main chars.

Spider-Man
Real Name: Peter Benjamin Parker
Age: 18
Birthday: March 1st
Identity: Secret
Occupation: Student at Midtown High School (Public School #108), Technical Support Specialist at the Daily Bugle.
Citizenship: U.S.A.
Place of Birth: Queens, New York
Known Relatives: Richard Parker (father, deceased), Mary Parker (mother, deceased), Ben Parker (uncle, deceased), May Parker (aunt).
Group Affiliations: Avengers/Ultimates
Education: High School (Has not yet graduated)
Powers: Spider-Man possesses superhuman strength, reflexes and equilibrium; the ability to cling to most surfaces; and a sixth sense that warns him of impending danger.
Abilities: Peter is an accomplished scientist for his age.
Paraphernalia: Spider-Man's wrist-mounted web-shooters discharge thin strands of web-fluid at high pressure. On contact with air, the long-chain polymer knits and forms an extremely tough, flexible fiber with extraordinary adhesive qualities.
Background: Peter was born in Queens, New York to Richard and Mary Parker, both scientists working for Hammer Industries. When Peter was only four years old, his parents were killed in an apparent lab accident, though unbeknownst to him, Justin Hammer was behind the explosion because they refused to experiment on innocent children. Taken in by his Uncle Ben and Aunt May, Peter moved to the Forest Hills neighborhood. When he started school, he made friends with Harry Osborn, son of multi-billionaire Norman Osborn. As they grew older, Peter proved to be a bit of a geek, while Harry barely passed his tests. They formed a bit of a system -- Peter would help Harry study and complete his homework, and Harry would help keep the bullies off Peter's back.

This changed once they got into high school, because Peter was moved to advanced learning classes -- with a different class schedule than Harry, Peter was more easily cornered in the halls between classes. Flash Thompson became his biggest tormentor, calling him "Puny Parker" after shoving him in his locker, pushing his face into his lunch, or kicking his books out of his arms from behind. Since Flash became a star basketball player on the Midtown Wildcats, Harry backed off a bit, not interfering when he caught him bullying Peter. This strained their relationship some, especially once Harry joined the team with Flash and they became buddies. Harry eventually developed a "you need to fight your own battles" outlook, and Peter said the same thing back, refusing to help him with his homework. However, when Harry came close to failing tenth grade and getting kicked off the team, Peter gave in and helped him pass. The fact that Flash threatened to shove him off the Brooklyn Bridge if he let Harry get kicked off the team helped him get motivated.

After Flash became the captain of the Wildcats in eleventh grade, he became a school hero, and when he picked on Peter, more people noticed -- and laughed. By the end of junior year, Uncle Ben started driving Peter to school on his way to work (He was the senior electrician at a local facility of Hammer Industries), while Aunt May picked him up after school. This was because it got to a point where Peter was tormented every day on the bus, and he never made it to school without losing his lunch and any money he had. Harry had become very popular as well, and refused to risk his rep by helping his friend out. A few times Peter overheard Harry telling a group of hot girls that he only hung around Peter because he felt sorry and believed strongly in charity projects.

The summer gave Peter a reprieve, and he was granted a summer internship at Empire State University working with Professor Curt Conners. His torment returned in senior year, and in early November, the school had a massive field trip where all seniors went to Osborn Industries -- this was arranged by Harry to further his popularity in the school. However, during the field trip, there was a brief power outage, and a slight malfunction in one of the labs, which left a compartment door slightly ajar when the power cut out. This compartment was home to Experiment DL4-262 -- a genetically altered spider that was fused together from several species using the Oz Compound. The spider escaped, and crawled through a vent shaft. When the power came back on, the air conditioning system malfunctioned as well, sending a powerful blast of air through the vents, causing the spider to be pushed out and sent flying into the sea of students on the field trip. It landed on the arm of Peter, then crawled down to his hand. When Peter felt a tickling on his skin, he lifted his hand up, saw the spider, screamed like a little girl, and began whipping his arm around wildly trying to get the spider off. Everyone exploded with laughter, and Peter cried out as the spider bit him on his hand. Finally knocking it off, Peter stomped it, and then ran away from the laughing crowd, tears welling up in his eyes behind his glasses.

After catching a bus as close to home as he could get, Peter began walking the streets of Forest Hills, until finally making it home near dinner time. By the time he got to his front door, however, he was sweating a lot and felt slightly nauseas, and went to bed without eating. He fell asleep, and the next morning when he awoke, he ran to the bathroom and puked several times. He stayed home sick the rest of the week, and over the weekend, developed a fever. He thought for sure the spider bite was going to kill him, until Monday morning -- he woke up, feeling better than ever. He had a lot of new energy, and was breathing a lot easier. Over the next week, he noticed he was changing as his skinny, scrawny body gained muscle and he began to look fairly normal. His vision started to correct itself as well, and soon he no longer needed his glasses. His aunt and uncle were suspicious, but didn't pester him too much for answers.

Peter soon realized he could cling to walls and was super flexible when he jumped to dodge a drunk driver one evening. He also discovered he could predict danger. Using his new abilities, he figured he could help out his uncle and aunt financially, and signed up to fight in a mixed martial arts tournament sponsored by UFC. He wore blue sweat pants and a red sweat shirt with a spider on the chest and a red ski mask. He listed his name as Arthur "The Spider" Simek, and listed his fighting style as "Art of the Hidden Spider" in Japanese. He won the final match, and was to be awarded $10,000, but the director of the event refused to pay up unless Peter unmasked himself and signed a three year contract with the UFC. Since Peter was still seventeen and had lied to get in, he knew he would get in trouble if he unmasked, and stormed away, angry and empty-handed. Just as Peter was about to leave the building, another man ran by with a bag of money. The director chased after him, yelling to Peter to stop him, but still angry about not getting his money, Peter stepped aside and told the director "Not my problem."

Angry that he still had a nearly empty wallet, Peter returned home, but not before slipping into an alley to change back into his regular clothes. It was late when he walked into his house, and he headed straight for bed. Over the next few days, he tinkered with one of his father's old projects, hoping to sell it to make money and thus help out that way. The result was a white pressurized liquid that, on contact with air, formed an extremely tough, flexible fiber with extraordinary adhesive qualities. He called it Project Cobweb.

One morning, Uncle Ben's truck broke down, so Aunt May took him to work. That day after picking up Peter from school, they ran a few errands, then went to pick up Uncle Ben from work. However, while waiting in the parking garage, they witnessed a masked man shoot Uncle Ben as he headed for the car. The shooter stole his watch and wallet, then ran off. Aunt May called the police on her cell phone, while Peter ran over to his Uncle Ben. He held his hand as the old man died, tears welling up in Peter's eyes. Furious, Peter ran off after the murderer. Several streets down, he chased the man into an old abandoned warehouse, where he slammed the man against a wall and began punching and kicking him repeatedly. He tore off the mask, revealing the shooter's bloody and battered face, but it was still recognizable -- Peter stared in horror at the same man he let escape a few days earlier. Had he done the right thing and stopped the crook, Uncle Ben would still be alive. Peter punched the man one more time to knock him out, then used some old rope in the warehouse to tie him to a light pole. After calling the police from a payphone and telling them where to find the killer, Peter vanished down an alley and climbed up the wall of a tall building. He sat on the roof for over an hour, tears streaming down his face as he grieved the loss of his Uncle due to his own actions.

When he finally returned to the garage, Aunt May was long gone, so he caught cab home, finding several detectives talking to her there. He said he had gone after the killer, but was unable to keep up. That night, Uncle Ben's ghost visited Peter in a dream, telling him that with great power comes great responsibility. He woke up crying the next morning, and became determined to use his powers for good. He created a red and blue suit with the help of a few sewing guides he picked up from the library, and restructured Project Cobweb to shoot out of wrist-mounted web-shooters as long strands. This was originally to catch criminals, but soon after becoming Spider-Man, he realized he could swing with it too. By Christmas, he had mastered web-slinging, and made his name known among the other superheroes of New York City.

Peter thought he could take pictures of himself as Spider-Man and sell them for money, but after Daily Bugle editor J. Jonah Jameson called his pictures crap, he gave up on that career. As he was leaving, he noticed they were having issues with a computer. The woman who worked at that desk was complaining about how their tech support guy was always late and took long lunches, and that he was the only guy willing to work for what Jameson was willing to pay. Peter smiled after hearing the lady say "No true computer guy is going to work here for a mere ten dollars an hour, Jonah!" Peter approached Jameson again, and offered to take the job. He had the lady's computer up and running in a matter of minutes, and Jameson hired him as a Technical Support Specialist, though he only worked a few hours during the week because of school.

Spider-Man gained long-ranged recognition when he defeated Electro and brought down the Kingpin in early 2008, revealing him as Wilson Fisk. Nick Fury and Tony Stark approached him about joining the Avengers, but doing so would require him to unmask for them, thus revealing he was a minor. He declined, but later changed his mind -- In early March, shortly after Peter's eighteenth birthday, Norman Osborn, who had been secretly observing the results of his spider biting Peter, decided to recreate the incident on himself.

"If the spider venom, laced with Oz, gave Parker the enhanced strengths of a spider... Then taking a sample of my blood, adding Oz, and then re-injecting it will give me the enhanced strengths of... me," he had said.

The result was a terrible transformation that turned Osborn into a tall, muscular green monster resembling a horned goblin on steroids. He temporarily lost his mind, shooting out fireballs and causing a huge explosion that killed many staff members and sent his chief scientist, Otto Octavius, into a coma and fused his metal arms to his central nervous system. Osborn, laughing like a maniac and calling himself the Green Goblin, leapt from the building, proceeding to rampage through the city. The explosion caused a few tanks of Oz to catch on fire, pumping green smoke into the air. In the days, weeks, and months to come, many new Mutates would result from this.

Spider-Man teamed with the Avengers to take down the Green Goblin, and then became a full member of the team. He revealed his identity, but asked them to keep it secret. Together, they fought long and hard to apprehend all the new supervillains popping up.

As Peter, he continues to attend classes at Midtown High and work tech support at the Daily Bugle. As Spider-Man, he reports to Tony Stark and Nick Fury at the New York S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters in Stark Tower. The Avengers continue to fight the upsurge of supervillains, capturing as many as they can and locking them away in special cells in Stark Tower.

Iron Man
Real Name: Anthony Stark
Age: 34
Birthday: December 31st
Identity: Publicly known
Occupation: Owner of Stark Industries, field leader of the Avengers/Ultimates
Citizenship: U.S.A.
Place of Birth: Manhattan, New York
Known Relatives: Howard & Maria Cerrera Stark (parents, deceased), Morgan Stark (cousin, deceased), Antonio (uncle, deceased).
Group Affiliation: Avengers/Ultimates (field leader)
Education: Doctorates in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, Human Simulation Programming, and Robotics Engineering. Extensively self-educated in many other fields.
Powers: Tony Stark is a phenomenal scientific genius and inventor. He is multilingual, has nearly total recall, and has a seemingly limitless capacity for multitasking. His Iron Man armor grants him tremendous superhuman strength and durability, enabling both supersonic flight and submersible travel, and houses laser cannons, ray guns, explosives, "light-negativity" devices allowing short-term invisibility, force field generators, a tracking system, communications tech and onboard computers. He can manually recharge his armor from outside sources or draw additional power from a network of dedicated satellites.
Background: Tony was born to Howard and Maria Stark in Manhattan, New York. It was obvious very early on that he was not a normal child -- He could read at age three, and started kindergarten at age four. When he was eleven, he entered a special high school for advanced learners, and received his diploma with honors at age fifteen. He was accepted at MIT, and between ages fifteen and twenty-three, he gained several doctorates by studying for long hours and taking morning, afternoon, and evening classes.

After he left MIT, Tony went to work for the Department of Defense, designing new technologies. He continued to self-educate himself, and in his spare time, worked on his own projects. He created a powerful battle armor, and since it was done in his own home, the DOD had no claim to it. He later signed a contract that said the Department of Defense would pay Tony $500 Million to mass produce the battle armor technology. He moved back to New York, built Stark Tower, and began his operations. He created other technologies as well, selling most of his inventions to the government. At age thirty, Tony Stark had a net worth of $11.4 Billion.

He combined his technologies into one super suit, which he eventually wore as Iron Man -- Nick Fury had approached him about making weapons for S.H.I.E.L.D., but upon learning of Tony's super suit, convinced him to wear it and join S.H.I.E.L.D. as the leader of a new team called the Avengers.

As Tony Stark, he remains owner of Stark Industries, but appointed a board of directors to run the company. As Iron Man, he continues to lead the Avengers as he has done for the last two years.

Wolverine
Real Name: Unknown/goes by Logan
Age: Unknown (due to his healing factor, age is impossible to determine)
Birthday: Unknown
Identity: Publicly known (Logan)
Occupation: Adventurer, Member of the Ultimates (eventually)
Citizenship: Unknown
Place of Birth: Unknown
Known Relatives: Unknown
Group Affiliation: Ultimates
Education: Unknown
Powers: Wolverine's mutant healing factor enables him to recover from virtually any injury in a matter of minutes to hours. His enhanced senses make him an excellent tracker. His bones have been bonded with unbreakable adamantium, and he has six claws made of the same material. Wolverine's physiology has been altered so he is invisible to radar, and most telepaths are unable to read his thoughts.
Background: Logan does not remember much about his past. The earliest memory his mind can grasp took place seven years ago -- He remembers being in a lab at S.H.I.E.L.D., and he remembers terrible and painful experiments. The scientists called him Weapon X or Wolverine, except for one female that was always kind to him -- she called him Logan.

He grew to adore her, but after about a year, he saw an opportunity to escape and took it, hiding in the Canadian wilderness, where he lived with the wolves for six years. He was susceptible to his urges and instincts, which made the scientists believe he was a monster. But the female scientist called Julie saw past that, and new that deep down, Logan was a gentle, compassionate man. He asked Julie to go with him when he left, but she declined.

Logan used his skills and his claws to hunt and live like a wild animal, but never lost his sense of humanity. Things changed drastically when Professor Charles Xavier, who had been asked by Nick Fury years earlier to track down Wolverine, finally completed the final form of Cerebro. Using it, Xavier located Wolverine, but could not read his thoughts.

His sense of smell warned him when the X-Men and Fury entered his woodland home, and he ran. Also after him were the Brotherhood of Mutants, who wanted to recruit him. Logan ran and hid, eventually making his way back into America. After seeing a TV special about the chaos in New York, Logan headed for the city, hoping to lose his pursuers in the millions of people.

Logan now hides in an old library, reading up on current and past events to get a sense of reality. He dresses in a hat and trench coat to get food and each day's newspaper.

AFFILIATION: Dementors
HISTORY: O'Hirn was a former wrestler turned animal warden at the Central Park Zoo in New York, and when the Oz hit him, he was working on a rhino in the zoo. The Oz caused him and the rhino to fuse together. The minds merged, and although still maintaining human level intelligence, he was subject to the instincts and urges of the rhino.
POWERS: Rhino possesses tremendous superhuman strength. He also has heightened levels of speed and stamina, and a high degree of resistance to physical injury and high impact forces. The Rhino's skin now renders him highly resistant to conventional injury. He has withstood high caliber bullets, powerful lasers and great impacts without injury. In addition, the "horn" on his head is very durable and razor-sharp. Rhino tends to charge into his enemies with the horn extended, much like a real rhinoceros.

I will supply images for other chars as they appear in the story.

the idea sounds interesting, but with my obligations to other threads, and the fact that wolverine is spoken for i must regretfully decline, i am a huge marvel fan though.

Okay. Thanks for showing your interest, though. Also, I'll accept custom characters, as well as characters from the DC Universe. Any ideas anybody has, feel free to discuss them. This thread can go anywhere. We could also use Fantastic Four characters. If we get enough people and it lasts long enough, we could take this game into the future, and when the main heroes get older, we can play their offspring. Second, third, fouth generation of heroes and beyond -- this game can go on for a long time.

Hopefully Kitten will play Venom again, and Atlus play Gambit. Tearsoftheworld said she might play Susan Storm, so we'll see.

Well, if no one joins us, I may just convert this into a fan fiction for the Marvel.com forums. No sense doing a massive rp like this with only two players.
