Pepper had just arrived home from a day of classes at the University. She was tired. It had been a long day. While she had the body any girl would kill for she still wore clothes you would see on a normal bookworm. Thick glasses that aren't really needed, A sweater that didn't really reveal much about her body and a long black skirt that was almost ankle Length. She had always dressed like this and while she no longer felt the need to dress in such a fashion she decided it was best. She didn't need to draw attention to herself in highschool before the day she was bitten by that irradiated spider she was kinda chunky and not much of a looker and she hasn't fully adjusted to her new body. Also she is quite shy when it comes to everything social. She would love to be the life of the party but she still isn't sure about herself in those regards.

She sits down and turns on the TV, Aunt Betty I'm home she yells upstairs. Uncle Betty comes downstairs and starts talking to Pepper, asking about her day and such. The conversation goes on for awhile, when Pepper notices on the news that A hostage Situation is going on downtown, the Shockstress and the Sinister Six were at there worst. They reporter announces that they said they would start killing hostages in 1 hour if Spider-Woman wasn't there in that 1 hour.

Aunt Betty asks Pepper would you like me to fix dinner as Pepper starts to get a worried look on her face.

Pepper pauses for a minute while trying to figure out what to say to her loving Aunt. No Aunt Betty i just remembered that Heather Osborn invited me over for dinner tonight and if i don't hurry I'll be late. Pepper grabbed her camera and was out the door. See you later tonight Aunt Betty.

Once she is out of the view of the house she runs into an alley and rips her sweater over her head revealing her Crimson and Blue Costume with a Spider on the chest. Pulling a mask over her head she shoots a web out her hands and is off into the streets of New York City.

"It could be a trap. You sure you want to do this?" Mark Hill, a high-ranking SHIELD official said quietly, watching the array of flat-panel TV screens.

Nikolai puffed on his lit cigarette. "Of course I do, Comrade Hill. We can take down the Shocktress, and watch that little Spider wench to see what her motives are."

Hill sighed, "Very well. Monitor, do not engage until I give the word, got it?" he asked. Nikolai waved him off, as he was already on his feet and walking to the door. The young man was a fool, and had much to learn.

20 Minutes later, Nikolai was dressed in his black jumpsuit, with his small army of gadgets hidden in various places, and was already making his way through the dark New York backstreets to a service subway hatch.

He arrived at his destination and slipped out a small spray can. He sprayed a mysterious liquid on the lock of the hatch, and soon, it dissolved away in seconds. Nikolai pulled the hatch open, and slipped inside the subway system quietly.

Felix had been watching the news, keeping an eye out for trouble. His mother had taken the day off from work, and is father was out doing what he did all day. As Mrs. Hardy went about dusting some of her collection, most of which were acquired during her days as the master thief, Black Cat, she spoke to her son, giving him advice. Suddenly, the news showed footage of a hostage situation. Felix shook his head, as he heard that the hostagetakers demanded Spiderwoman. He looked at his mother, who was already opening a hidden door in their large mansion. The door led to the outfit that the woman had designed for her son, as well as her own costume from her previous career. "Good luck, son. And try not to get too carried away." Felix was down the stairs into the basement in seconds, already pulling on the basic black, skintight outfit with the white fur-trimmed boots and collar, with a lowcut , almost nonexistant chest covering. He climbed onto the bike he used, also basic black, and took off out a hidden exit, leading far out onto the streets of the city. As he looked around, he saw Spiderwoman swinging from rooftop to rooftop, and grinned. "Looks like I'm not the only one who saw the news."

Remembering that the hostages were taking at the Manhattan Bank. Spider-Woman swung her way towards the city. It was a warm crisp evening and Pepper was upset that it had to be ruined by what is going to end up being a long ass fight with the Sinister Six. She feared this fight to because it involved most of her worst Enemies. Dr. Octopussy, The Vultress, Mysterious, Electress, Sandwoman, Kraven the huntress and Shockstress was there too, this wouldn't be an easy task.

Thinking to herself sheesh sometimes i wish i was normal again so i could sit at home and read a good book in weather like this. Though its kinda great to be able to be a heroine, even if you never really get the credit for your actions. Well i can't let this affect me or I'll lose this fight for sure.

Arriving at the bank i decide to scope it out and see if there is any way to sneak in. I notice a window near the top of the building I should be able to sneak in there and go from there.

Spider-Woman opens the window and begins to climb in.

Black Cat pulled to a stop in front of the bank. He climbed off his bike, kicking the stand down, and then stretched. He waited for several moments, then walked over to the door calmly. I open it slowly, then toss a few small steel balls in. After rolling several meters, they suddenly start spewing thick, black smoke. It was a typical trick his mother had taught him, a smoke bomb. Fighting in it was little trouble, but he didn't know the full abilities of the ladies he was up against. Still, after a few seconds, he grabbed the door handle with both hands, and yanked hard. He ripped the door off the hinges easily, and then stalked into the bank. Any other hero would be more worried about the people inside. His mother had taught him to think of no one's safety but his own, but he had his own way, that he'd learned from Spiderwoman herself. While he still thought more of his own safety than the others, he didn't approve of killing. That was also something his mother had taught him.

Now all the way in the bank. Spider-Woman heads down the hallway when she sees on a clock that she only has 5 minutes left before the hostages start getting killed. She makes a mad sprint towards the Elevator and gets on guess being stealthy is out of the question now.

The elevator reaches the ground floor. She walks out of the elevator and prepares herself for the fight of her life. When she notices the room is all smokey. Guess Blackcat has found his way here, guess i wasn't the only one that saw the news. Thinking back to the old days when i used to twart him at every heist. Oh those were the days she blushed under her mask he was pretty cute. Well this gives me a chance to set up my camera without anyone seeing me. Setting the timer on it Pepper attaches the camera up in a corner where it can see the whole room.

Hearing some coughing from the badguys.

Spider-Woman cracks a joke as she always does. Spider sense is tingling, I drop to the ground as a metal arm whizzes over my head. Hey that almost hit me you 6 armed freak.

Black Cat shook his head at Spiderwoman's joke. It was a pretty bad one, actually, but he wasn't about to throw off her rythm. Instead, as a massive metal tentacle flew over Spiderwoman's head, he caught it in one hand, holding on and digging in the special claws in the suit's gloves. "It's not nice to hit a lady, Doc. Then again, I wouldn't mind seeing a catfight. What say we make this quiet and quick. You all surrender, and walk out of here in handcuffs."

Somewhere in the bank building, a small security substation sat unattended with multiple rows of CCTV monitors. Black Widow, having climbed up from the basement sublevels, via the subway tunnels, now found himself watching the ensuing situation between Spider-Woman, and the baddies.

Some other vigilante seemed to be on the side of Spider-Woman, although Nikolai couldn't ID him. He sat against the door and watched with interest.

Patricia Wisdom had stopped using her real name the night she left England and escaped Black Air. Now she was Tricia Wisdom as she wandered the city streets. The blonde was quite striking but had hidden one major thing: the fact she had just been beaten by a rogue faction of the group she had only gotten the courage to escape just weeks before

Hey thats a good one BC. As Pepper sprays webs all around the room to try to slow the less sure footed villians down. Spidey spins a web towards the ceiling and swings across the room kicking doc in the face before dismounting with a flip onto the ceiling. Just then a blast from Shockstress nearly grazes Spiderwoman knocking her from the ceiling. Gah my spidey sense was a bit late on that one. Hey save the cooking for dinner mom, i really don't want to be crispy. Mysterious appears behind Pepper and grabs her. what wasn't that funny? guess i need some better one liners this time. As pepper Throws Mysterious at Shockstress. Just then Electress hits Spider-Woman with a blast of electricity.

Black Cat grinned, then sidestepped Kraven as she charged at him. She was a bit faster than the others, he realized. He figured that was part of the reason she was called the Huntress. Still, she fought like a berzerker, which didn't work in her favor. He kept sidestepping, ending up with his back against the wall. Then, as she charged headlong at him, he leaped into the air, vaulting over her as she slammed into the wall. He then turned his attention to the Vultress, who was moving in close and trying to drain the life out of him. Her wings made her fast, but she was little more than a bird. He grinned at that thought, and then spoke. "Aww, poor birdy. Cats eat birds, you know."

After shaking off the blast from Electress Spider-Woman stands up. Feeling a lil woozey the spider sense starts Tingling again. Dodging out of the way from a blast from electress she shoots a web and grabs hold of electress, seeing Shocktress getting up from the ground she shoots a web and catches her and then pulls them both at the same time slamming them together. Well whatever you do don't put water on that pile.

As Vultress moved in closer, Black Cat pounced. He knocked her out of the air, causing her to hit the firealarm and trigger the sprinklers. The force of the blow had knocked the woman unconscious, and Black Cat watched, satisfied, as she sank to the ground. The sprinklers started to dissipate the smoke from the smoke bombs he had tossed in, but that wasn't that big a deal. Then Black Cat realized the good Doctor was no where in sight. "Hey, Sexy...where'd the girl with the tentacles go?" He waited for Spiderwoman's response, standing there.

*Points up the stairs*
"I think she is trying to escape and she has a hostage with her"
Pepper giggles as she looks over Blackcat. not now but later she thinks to herself. "Go after her i'll be up as soon as i have all these wrapped up and handed over to the police." spins webs encasing them all so they can't escape. Spider-Woman releases all the hostages and tells one of them to let the police in to gather up the villians.

I better hurry she says as she runs up the stairs.

Black Cat takes the stairs at a bound. Within seconds, he's on the roof. He looked around, and spotted the wench standing on the ledge with a young woman in one of her tentacles. He shook his head, then sighed. "This is not good."

with her spider sense tingling Pepper had an idea to take go out the window and head to the roof that way. Black Cat could handle Doc Oc by himself she was sure but the hostage was her worry. She takes to the roof and sees Doc out on the ledge of the building. Pepper remains silent as she climbs to the roof.
