The whole world is under attack by Martians. The short little bastards in their green battle suits carrying their lazer rifles are every where. France has already fallen and Indian is on fire.....Nothing but bad news is on The Global News Network (GNN).

Things are different in the United States though!!? We have the Second Amendment!! Most cities are under attack and saucers are partoling the coutry side.


OOC:

Think the movie Mars Attacks and you have an idea of what the Martians look like. As players you are on your own to fight it out with this Alien invasion..... This for basic characters police officers, rent-a-cops, national guardsmen, and those who were always paranoid and well prepared for this onslaught.

To keep things simple there is urban and rural settings only for battles.

Pick were you want to start and remember strength is in numbers.

This is a slash and hack...shooter of a game.


Save the planet but start with your own ass!!!


We will fight them in the trailer parkers, we will fight them in the malls, we will fight them in the casinos!?!!!

desc.:a crazy recluse who believed in aliens for years,and has had weapons amde for himself to fight the incoming threat years ago.suprisingly,the weapons seem to work.
Including the weapons is a 9mm handgun with 3 clips(jsut something he kept),a 4' long sword bought off an e-bay auction,a cheap-looking raygun colored garish blue that has a radar dish on the tip,which makes a loud keening noise that seems to disable any amrtians that heal it(why we dont know)and a laser light boosted in power to make a blinding light.rounding off the package is a dozen of grenades that blink blue at the top three times,then explode and spatter a sticky substance that would normally just incipacitate a poerson by sticking tehm to the ground,the substance seems to burn martian skin.who knew?
anyaway,he flipped out and is gathering a resistance in an abandoned mansion with a fairly large bomb-shelter,adn supplies shipped into a generator-powered pantry from a supermarket.

Well I like Luke (Luke Skywalker I am sure to friends online) alot but your gear brings some problems. You can have box of regular grenades, and the ray gun is strickly out. Also you may have a laser site for a bolt action rifle. Anything you can find on ebay is fine but you have been ready for the Martians but you don't have exotic weapons to fight them. I am sure you will have a chance to get Martian weapons.



Starting position is city or rural. Otherwise I like it....welcome aboard.

Skills: trained with firearms and various forms of unarmed combat, and thanks to a troubled childhood has untraditional skills that often help her as a P.I such as lock picking, hot wiring, basic hacking skills-nothing too fancy, fence scaling, etc...she is also an offensive as well as defensive driver and can keep the vehicle under control while pushing the speed limits of the vehicle.
Has been taking flying lessons for the past month but isn't certified yet. Rock climbs on weekends to help relieve stress.
Weapons: carries two double holstered Glocks at the small of her back, keeps her butterfly knife on her at all times, and has various other firearms-she is licensed to carry concealed.
Bit of background: Katy had been a bad kid...always hanging out with the wrong crowd until she had a run in with death taking two bullets one in her left arm and one in the shoulder-they'd been aiming for her heart. While she was in the hospital she watched a lot of cop dramas like NYPD Blue and Law and Order, and became addicted to the X-Files. After that she decided to get her life on track and make a difference. She got her associates degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology and headed off to the Police Academy. She was one of the highest ranking students in her graduating class but after six months on the force she realized that the corruption of organized crime and other factors reached deep into all aspects of the legal system. Realizing that she would never be able to make much of a difference if she was being monitored and controlled she left the force and established her own Private Investication firm.

She lives in a small apartment in the city, alone.

Background:

Nick was once a professional football player for the New England Patriots. He was on his way to a Hall of Fame career when he tackled an opponent that was making fun of him. His rage took over and he pummeled his opponent on the ground multiple times after the tackle. His opponent had to be airlifted off the field and barely lived through the encounter. Leaving an opponent as a barely breathing vegetable was not a good PR move for the league, so he was banned by the commissioner.

Nick spent a few years moving around the world trying to find his center. He eventually wound up in a Buddist monastery in Tibet where he somewhat learned to control his anger. After a few years of study, he returned to the United States. Barred from entering pro football, he settled for becoming a wrestler. He had only been in a few matches when the arena he was in was attacked by the aliens. That is where his story will begin........

Background: There isn't much to Art. He grew up a simple country boy, and once he was a man, he was a simple country man. He wore a stupid hat and outrageous belt buckle whenever he went into town, to look good when he drinks himself blind and passes out in the bed of his truck with his old bloodhound, Rufus.

Recently, though, things have been kind of screwey. His boss done taken his family and run all off to the military base a few miles away, leaving the farmhand to keep watch over the cattle, the land, the cattle, the farmhouse, and the cattle.

Suddenly, though, a big round thing starts showing up, and Art knows what he has to do.

"Ain't no filthy aliens gonna git these cows!"

As to the martian battle suit question my research has not yeilded any results....you will have to try it an find out. Logic would say it would be useful since the suits are of metal.
