Read somewhere else that married women who wear ankle bracelets means that they play around with other guy's. Never heard this before has anyone else?

It's called hot wife. And hard to say every wife who wears on is one.
But yes. It can be a great conversation starter ;-)

My wife is going to get a great laugh out of this when I tell her... I bought her one for Christmas last year.

I've played the bull for cuckold couples on a few occasions and I've never heard this. I kinda hope it isn't true. I think anklets are sexy on women and this isn't the meaning that I'd like to see attached to them.

I have played the bull for couples also and some married women with out husbands knowledge, and none had them, but as I read more it seems to be more of a UK thing and how they wear means a lot to, very interesting, I had no idea lol.

hmmm i rememba when i was a teenager i wanted one and my daddy just about freaked out he said was only whores that wore ankle bracelets! needless to say i took no notice and bought one anyway...just made sure he didnt see me wearing it!

You call yourself Cocolate Bull but have never heard of this before?

It's a myth. It just means she likes jewelry.

Not entirely, my wife wears them because she enjoys them and it also goes along with my foot fetish.

A few months ago at a party she was approached by a woman who asked if we would be up for a swap.

She asked the woman what gave her that idea and she pointed out her anklet.

We're not into that, but now we get a bigger kick out of her wearing one.

Usually the "hot"/slut wife goes hand in hand with "I'm a cuckold" and, therefore, "bulls".

You are correct and yes I play in that world a lot, however none have ever worn a ankle bracelet or even mentioned it, I do find a lot however on AFF and other sites so maybe that is why not sure.

I've always considered it as jewellery and have been thinking of wearing one to a party - maybe I should be careful when choosing my outfit

Met a woman at a conference who was wearing a small silver padlock on a delicate silver chain around her neck. Seminars turned to dinner and then drinks and finally ended up in one of those rare 'let's talk about everything' kind of conversations you can have when you're drunk and its midnight and you're out of town. Turns out the padlock had no symbolism at all, other than she thought it was cute. However, she was quite interested in what I thought it meant.

The wife and I used to post pics on various swinger and hot wife websites, and that topic comes up on the discussion boards about every six months--most often posted by a noob looking for an easy way to get in on the action. There is always a small group somewhere trying to launch the ankle bracelet as a symbol for something--and even more men praying that it does have a secret meaning. But the simple fact is that an innocuous piece of jewelry worn by millions of women all over the world cannot possibly be a universal symbol for anything, since 99% of the women wearing them don't participate and have no idea of the intended meaning.

Ankle brecelet

I have worn one with a suit to the office on many occasions and I never heard it meant I was available.

Never heard of it, but I understand the need for a nonverbal cue that you're willing to have a little fun. It'd be difficult to just go up to someone and start asking, yeah?

Is there any significance as to whether it's on the left ankle or the right ankle? I've seen women wearing ankle bracelets and never gave it a thought other than perhaps she wanted to call attention to nice ankles and might indeed liked to be looked at or approached.

As to the padlock jewlery. I think there are a lot of women who wear "bondage" jewlery and don't know they are. To them it's just "fashion". I met a woman once wearing a stylized slave collar and started a conversation about it. She told me (or maybe she just wanted me to leave) that she didn't know she was sending signals. She just liked the way it looked. On the other side of the fence, I've also met women who looked, on the surface, like quiet shy librarians or soccer moms and were kinky as hell when off the radar.

I have been known to wear both the ankle bracelet and the padlock necklace- and just once was asked if the padlock meant anything.

Maybe I am subconsciously... nah.
