I want to write an affair thread that takes place in a small close-knit, gossipy town. We're in somewhat happy, mostly unfulfilling marriages. We meet at our kids' school... have friends in common. On the outside we play the roles of involved, progressive, upstanding parents well. Inside, there's a need that burns. Desire and the danger of being discovered make it a volatile arrangement.
