Our lead has a partner with an interesting quirk: their body can undergo changes and transform.
What sort of stories can be told with this set up?
Now there's two main divisions: Voluntary (they change at will) and involuntary (they can't control when or what they change into).
Now of course, I don't just want this to be the ideas I put down, I want to hear yours.
Here's a couple examples:
Involuntary: partner has been especially horny and our lead is happy to scratch their itch...one night though, they take the form of our lead's family member (maybe a sibling, maybe a parent, maybe an extended family member). Lead is uncomfortable getting intimate with partner so partner and lead decide to just wait...only this form sticks, with both of them becoming increasingly frustrated.
Voluntary: Lead has been having a tough time at work. Their boss is a major pain in the ass and makes them work ungodly hours. Boss has a weakness though, they get blackout drunk every weekend. Partner comes up with an idea and transforms into the boss, going wild not only with the lead but their coworkers as well as lead records it. Come Monday...
