Hello everyone,
I am a bi-curious, married male, living somewhere (let's say) in East TN who is a transplant from another closeby state. I am well educated (whatever that means), down-to-earth, and middle-aged, but am not into viagra or other stuff like that even though I probably could use it.
I had to opportunity to attend both Woodstock and VietNam, but will tell you about neither. The former is because I don't honestly remember and the latter is because I honest want to forget.
I am an artsy-fartsy kind of a guy, where I enjoy writing poetry and going to plays and museums, and art galleries, but I also played sports in HS and college, which involved football, basketball, baseball, track and field, and a little soccer.
I possess a healthy body, and no longer smoke, but do drink socially once in a while which is usually wine. I enjoy eating, but watch my weight and try to exercise regularly. I really enjoy reading and my most recent reads are: Blink, Freakonomics, The World is Flat, Execution, and Confessions of an Economic Hit Man.
Now, why have I told you all of this, well, I want you to know about me up front, or at least as much as I can share without giving myself away, because I need to maintain discretion and privacy.....
This is my second marriage. My first one lasted about 23 years and the divorce was ugly and this one has lasted over 12 years and would prefer that she not know what I am doing because, even though I am married, I am alone and lonely, and feel like I am being taken for granted.
For instance, she is out now, going here and there, not really telling me where she is or who she is with, and will return sometime this afternoon and act like it does not bother her that she spent the entire Saturday without me in her life, when she could have stayed home and spent the day with me.
So, I am looking for someone who would like to share feelings, maybe become friends, build some trust, and be there for each other, when our spouses are not.... While I am no problem with single folks, they just do not understand what it is like to be single and married at the same time, even if they have been there and done that; besides, if they are single and we get interested in each other, then, they do not not have as much to lose as I do, which ruins any hopes of a successful relationship in the future, if you know what I mean.
I am neither Democrat nor Republican, but I am liberal I suppose because I do not like the government telling me what I can or cannot do with my own body...
I listen to the Savage Nation and Neil Bortz (spelling?) for entertainment, but feel empathy for the people when they are cut off at the knees because they simply do not agree. However, I have no empathy for those who are just plain stupid..... I believe Gump's mother when she said, "stupid is as stupid does," or says, in my opinion.
Now, here is what I am curious about, even though I will probably never, ever, experience any of it:

I don't really know why? I guess it is because it is just something I do not know anything about.
When in HS, I dated women of color and I do not mean that in any negative light at all, so please do not take it that way. I simply dated females, some of them were white, some black, some oriental, etc. During my first marriage, I had an on-going 10 year affair with a black poet, which was very rewarding but not the downfall of my marriage.
I am not into one night stands or sex for the sake of sex, but I would like to build up a friendship and a trust that would allow us to grow and experiment with each other, if that is what we wanted to do. If not, then, we could just become friends and then perhaps good friends.
