Marriage of Convenience

I know this is a long shot.

Some time ago I read a story on here about a man who marries his boss's mistress because she is pregnant for convenience and ends up falling in love with her.

There is something about an engraved jewellery that says "Thank you for [names of wife and daughter]"

I can't remember title or author, but I would dearly love to reread it.

If anyone has any clues to help me find it, it would be greatly appreciated.

I recall this story also, but I can't seem to find it amongst my favorites. I hope the author hasn't deleted it. I recall it being by one of the "big" authors on the site, so it should have been easy to find.
The details I recall - he did it as a favor for his boss because they were both in the military together. They never said "i love you" to each other until the end. I think it was a two part story - the first part, them falling in love, and the second part, he thought she was going to leave him because the boss and the woman were making secret plans, but it turned out <Spoiler!> that the boss was going to retire and give the business to him.
