A friend of mines is about to get married. And it got me thinking about marriage for myself. Only reason he doing it is for the money. And the only reason his wife doing it is for a green card. A African friends of mine said he could get me 10,000$. If I go through with it. But idk if I will. I don't want to fuck up the chance of me marrying the woman I love. So I might decide against it. But I given it a thought.

Love went out of style in 1979. Go for the $'s, or whatever the African equivalent is.

I know of a guy that entered into an arrangement like that with the Filipino sister of a friend of his. The fried was already married to an American. After he did that, his ex-wife came back into the picture and demanded he get divorced.

He did.

I got out of work one day and found hims standing by my truck needing a ride and looking forlorn. His ex's family had flown the guy she fucked around on him with before into town. He helped her drive the truck (that my friend had bought but due to credit issues put in her name) back to Detroit. She also took his phone that they were sharing. Another mutual friend dropped a dime in Detroit and got her ride repo'd. So at least she did not profit.

The Filipino woman was a CPA. He should have stayed divorced from wife number one.

That's illegal. Thought you were on the up and up. Also, if you don't actually know this friend, it's probably also a scam.

He is a close friend of mines, He arrange the marriage with my other friend. I know he is legit, it wouldn't be my first time doing business with him. I'm still undecided, I might don't do it.

Is there a Nigerian prince involved?

That's why my brother got married. His wife couldn't get any financial aid because of her mom (who was a nurse and made too much money). After the wedding she was under a new income bracket and eligible for about $4000 in grants every year. So she made waaaay more than $10,000. Over the course of 4 years she'll get $16,000 out of it, AND it makes her eligible for KCHIP. So sometimes it can be a good idea.

I'm morally opposed to the concept of marriage, because I'm not really cool with giving certain people special rights over everyone else, but yes, it can be financially beneficial. It just depends on what price you put on your soul.

Super confused why people think that being paid to get married is illegal? That's totally a thing. Especially with arranged marriages, money often changes hands. Or did you think green card marriages were illegal? Which is also not true. I'm just not sure where you're coming from.

It's this girl I know, she calls me her brother. But I'm really not that close to her. But she got married to this African dude. Whenever she needs money she call him and he gives it to her. He pays her rent, buys her kids clothes and her newborn baby pampers. Just so she won't snitch on him. She blackmail him and get whatever she wants from him.

Green card marriages is illegal

Green card marriages is illegal

In what universe? That's how every Asian person I know got to this country. I've bitched about it before. If green card marriages were illegal, there would be no Asian Mail Order Bride industry- and it's a booming industry. I mean, it has tons of problems, and it's really fucked up, but it does exist.

Don't. You wouldn't know what to do with the money at this point in your life anyway. Get yourself to a place where you can SUSTAIN a marriage - then worry about that shit.

You also gotta take a test before they could get their green card. And its a investigation involved. That's sounds illegal to me.

I got kids to worried about. And since I'm not selling drugs no more ( kinda) I need away to make ends meet.

You don't have to sustain a green card marriage, you just have to get them a marriage visa so that they can get citizenship, you know, get the process started, get the three years under their belt, and get the test taken.

...why do I know so many people who have done this?

Just to make sure it's actually someone you know and you're not a serial groom. You're not supposed to just marry a new person every time your current wife gets her citizenship. So they just ask you shit to make sure you're an actual couple. Each other's birthdays, each other's favorite movies, etc. The law is supposed to help actual couples stay together and notsomuch to help strangers gain citicenship, but because marriage is a legal, rather than social construct, the way it's written totally allows you to do that. So it's frowned upon, but not illegal.

Smooth is easily rated in my top 10 posters.

As far as BBC posters go, he is numero uno.

I would be marrying just for the green card so that whats make it illegal.

Well yeah, if you just walk up to her social worker and tell them that. I was operating under the idea that you weren't a COMPLETE dumbass.
