I can only speak for myself.

Between having two kids and hubby's crappy work schedule it seems that there is never enough time to have all the sex I want. I'm a happy, somewhat healthy, horny woman who takes her marriage vows seriously, so self-pleasuring is the only way to get me through our dry spells.

Do I do it as much as men? I guess it would depend on the man.

It it excessive? As far as I'm concerned, too much is never enough. If the day ever comes when I prefer masturbating to making love with my husband, then I'll start to worry.

Same situation here-especially with three kids and and hubby working 3rd shift. I love to masterbate and I don't think there is ever enough pleasure-so masterbate away.

I'm with everyone else, both about the difficulty of managing schedules and masturbating to compensate...do I masturbate excessively? How would I know if it's excessive? But I do average about once per day, maybe a bit less frequently than that...
