How about...his brain in MY body? I think that would work out well.

Well, for me, at least.

That's kind of what I was wondering. Guess it got lost in the translation or maybe people here are to chicken to reveal they're level of edcuation. If you are attractive now, would having a "bigger brain" make you any more or less attractive.

I think personally, the bigger the brain, the more attractive the package. So - more attractive - that's my answer and I'm sticking to it...

BTW, Riles says your PM box is full....

Better than the other way around. ;)

Hell yes, intelligence is sexy.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to fantasize about Aphrodisiac's huge brain.

for a right triangle with short sides of length a and b and long side of length c

a2 + b2 = c2

Aphrodisiac, your beautiful brain has cured me!

Of the thousand stars that twinkle in the sky there is one that has fallen to earth and beholds my eye.

Well, it just shows you, even biochemists have problems with technology. (stupid webcodes... laughs)

Ok quick what is this:

Get it right and I'm your love slave for the night. You have 10 seconds starting now.

Gee, no one even made an attempt. Is it my new gif? Or did those ink blots all get you horny and you're off doing other things?

They're pictorial representations of electron orbitals. The electron orbitals fill up according to the atomic number of an element. They're represented by the letters s, then p, then d, then f...you get two electron spaces for s, 6 for p, 10 for d, and 16 for f, I believe, but I could be wrong there. It's been a while. Due to Heisenberg's uncertainty principle, I can't tell you which way they're spinning, but I hope that will do.

And I take my slaving very seriously...so I hope you get back on soon.

:)

***notice: this is where i get on my bitchy "men suck" soapbox***

I think that a large proportion (not all, mind you) of men talk a good game about wanting a woman with personality and brains.

That is, until a bubble-headed bleach blonde (to quote the Eagles) comes bouncing by and they don't have to put forth any mental energy for the return on investment ego stroke.

I'm a lazy creature. I can understand not wanting to work hard to keep the interest of the object of one's affections. However, that makes pretty much all the blather about looking for intellectual stimulation a big ol' bunch of hooey.

Oh, and an interesting point about your poll. "average" intellegence is pretty easy to beat if you're talking about the general population. The average intelligence of the population at Lit where one has to be relatively literate is way above "average" (yes, even the morons..most of them.).

I'd agree with the spirit of your comment. Speaking for myself, I'm not necessarily interested in some high-maintenance woman. Smart people often have issues that I can't fix. I'd be fooling myself to say that smart women all solve their own problems. As a group, they seem just as needy as the rest.

Dumb people have problems that I can fix. There's no question that dumb people can make me feel competent and powerful.

On the other hand, confidence is really all smoke-and-mirrors--isn't it? Competency and power are always relative. Relative to your stupid SO, you may feel smart. But once you start comparing SOs with your buddy and find out his wife is smarter, then your confidence takes a blow.

I'll take personality over intelligence, actually. I don't think that they necessarily go together. A lot of really smart women are really bitter. That makes me want to avoid them. But they can be more interesting...

Perhaps the solution is to date smart, marry stupid.

*sniffles* I guess that means it's over between us! :D

j/k, of course. I think if i were you I'd do the opposite. Date stupid and marry smart. In a marriage you want someone who can handle crises without dissolving into a useless puddle of need. Also, dumb would grate on your nerves after 40-some odd years.
