I spent over a decade with the NOPD and had worked the Mardi Gras every year. Needless to say, I have encountered alot of loser tourists who insist of making asses of themselves. While in the auto theft division, I read hundreds of theft reports from tourists that said the same thing: "Victim was drinking with friends at...(whatever bar or night club)... at (whatever time). Upon walking to his/her car, it was discovered to be stolen." The truth? They would be drinking from morning to night and park their vehicles in "NO PARKING" zones. To which case, the vehicle is towed and the city makes a bundle of money from the tourist. But my question is this.........
Why do tourist travel hundreds of miles to observe Mardi Gras and, as if they were never trained by their parents, chose to piss in the streets and on peoples porches? I had to stop a guy from New York from pissing in the Louis Armstrong Memorial Park one night, despite the fact that the port-a-johns were just a few feet from him. So I asked him, "If I let you piss in our park, could I come to New York and piss on the Statue of Liberty?" Excuse the pun but, he was pissed.
