Personally, I don't like the old design. Never have. The new design seems almost as eye-catching as the label on a medicine bottle. But everyone who would like to chime in on this should get there and do so.

I think Manu's thinking was that thats the forum with the most movement and opinionated persons and probably he was too lazy to keep up with a thread on each forum

I like the new design but it is soooooooooooooooooooooo boring. If they zap it up with some funky colours, it'll be fantabulous.

I don't think you're too far off, but too much colour gets just plain gaudy and hard to look at. It seems also that images should be used to represent the contents of the site. Something simple and easily iconic that can be representative of what the main point of the site is.

But then, who are we? We're certainly NOT the GB for crying out loud.

That white, washed out look is just so...blah. It definitely needs some pizazz!

I agree that it needs a visual boost, no matter what, it needs that. Apparently NOT enough of us have gone over there to vote. The new design is still winning the poll.

I think Manu will take enough notice of the comments to realise it's lacking something, and juice it up a bit. I have faith

I don't. The new design is not only winning, it's winning in a landslide. The last time I looked, it was almost four to one for the new. I voted for the old design and left a comment saying why, but I don't think it will do any good.

Y'know, when I did that first Lit Art Contest I solicited seventeen different forums to get voters to the contest because it seemed to me to be something that as many Litizens as possible should come check out. Why does Manu not do something similar? There must be a way for him to a site-wide call to arms, so to speak. I honestly don't think that poll would be going the way it is if more people from the rest of the site knew about it.

I voted yes for usability. And I posted that it needed sexing up visually. That's what I read from most posters, really... This site as it stands does nothing for me visually, and it sucks to navigate around in.

Hell, what do I know? I can't get my own site together- the one for the dildoes, you know
I hate blank white pages, I know that. But that's just me.
And I am so tired of the blue-greys that so many template designers fall back on.

I know what you mean. I have some rough ideas about what I'd like to see, but nothing concrete. I just don't want to see what they're suggesting.
