Hi know this is probably a bit unusual but need some help and advice.

We have just got car hire in our town. Automatic ev. It's all buttons.
Haven't driven for a while.
Can't ask SO.
So should I take half an hr to get familiar with it.
Try on a quiet Sunday morning
Also needs parallel parking which Haven't done in a while
Context for coming on here you are my only friends and hoping it will lead to sex.😅🤣😂
Apologies if this is inappropriate

It'll probably seem too easy if you learnt to drive old skool manual. Like a go-kart or kids car except for being way faster and weighing two tons.

I'd definitely do the practice half-hour and not what I did the last time I hired and head straight out onto public roads (in the US ffs, wrong side of the road driving an auto everything soccer mom barge which despite being seriously oversized and overweight still had a 4L turbo V6 and went way too fast for what it was).

Thank you for your reply. Actually can only drive an automatic.

Was hoping for some gentlemen assistance.
My bad.
I will do what I always do and work it out myself.

You'll probably find an EV will accelerate a lot faster than a petrol or diesel auto, so just be aware of that when modulating the accelerator.

Anything else like working heaters/vents etc through the main LCD you'll need to figure out from the manual or else by just messing with it while parked (personally I hate menu-driven stuff and think it's far more dangerous than simple analogue knobs and buttons you can work by muscle memory, but I'm old 😁)
