Why not have a thread with a surreal twist? Ranting, clouded thoughts,
Throw yourself into a frenzy, don't keep it clean.....open up your pandoras box.......okay....open up someone elses pandoras box......hmmmm....I wonder what pandora's box is like?.......
Does reality elude you? Does it dance away when you have that revelation of clarity? Do you quote your children's books?
Does your mind follow maniacal thought progressions convoluted with distortions to the point that you start to question your sanity?

Heck, I'm all of the above, lol! Well, almost! ;)

Do you quote your children's books?

I quote all kinds of things. I remember many quotes from books I read as a child, and books that I read to my own children, but tend to not post them here. But this thread made me recall "baby talk." You know, when the kids were babies, you found yourself saying really goofy things like it was normal. I'm just thankful that I outgrew it as the kids did, lol :D

Hope you're off to a great start on the New Year, JR!

Thank you Arden.... :) You have raised my curiousity...er....maybe that is a poor choice of words knowing where most minds are that frequent this site....ahem....which ones might describe you?

Now my present belief system embraces the faith of Pooh!.............spiritually I embrace the fuzzy fat fella.....geez sounds like a description of myself.......Personally I think we should form a committee to determine what books go into the Book of Pooh...
Of course the Blustery Day teaches us many things......It gives us coping skills when wrongly accused......When Owl says to Pooh, when his tree house has crashed to the ground,...”Pooh! Did you do this?” Pooh looks around and says “I don’t think so” Now a proper presentation of this lesson requires a shifting of the eyes when making the line delivery.
My precocious three year old may disagree with my interpretation but there it is......

The book of Pooh also brings ritual into our lives......the before eating blessing.....
“Up down touch the ground puts me in the mood, Up down touch the ground in the mood for food” This requires bowing.....those that cannot touch the ground are banished to a purgatory of fasting while others eat a sumptous feast.......any that survive purgatory are given a “small” bowl of ice cream to break their fast and allowed to join the festivities.
