So many, so many.

How do gurus like Cheyenne, Tiggs, Bobtoad, Juliangel, Ambrosious, etc. manage to stay on top of these. (sorry for any name issues here guys)

I'm real new here but I still pop in for an hour or two most nights but there is no way I can keep up with these things. Is there a trick to it?

Help

That pretty much describes it! Although I admit I spend much more time here than I should, usually mornings at breakfast (like now) and then again later at night before bed. I used to read newspapers and watch TV for relaxation before trying to go to sleep- now I read Lit!

Another trick is to use the search button to search for posts from people that you want to read. If you have a limited amount of time and can't read everything, you at least want the threads you read to be from people you enjoy.

I also rely on thread titles to know what to read, although that is much more difficult lately with the bait and switch routines.

Welcome to the board!

Well, since I have no life, I spend more than just a couple hours here daily. lol I just "make my rounds" through most of the boards, skimming through things until I find something of interest. The more that interests me, the more I post. :)

Tiggs?

What doesn't interest you? That list is bound to be shorter.

Why don't you just just click on "posts from the last day"? Just start reading them, and you will be caught up continually, without having to remember where you left off.

That is one way

I have very limited time to spend here, and so I usally let the email notification tell me when there has been a responce to somthing that I said.

What I've learned

In my short tenure I've developed a sort of system. I get on and search for anything with my name in it from the time I was last here (ususally yesterday). Then I search for threads that I have posted on, to see if there are any interesting responses. Finally I go to the General board - cause there's no time for everything - and start reading from the top the ones with titles that interest me.

Thanks for the feedback, still lookng to learn.

You may be surprised, Sammy Babe. There are some things this Tigger won't do. ;)
