Mental illness...

Suspected driver in horrific Sunnyvale crash said, ‘Thank you, Jesus’ over and over

Moments after combat veteran Isaiah Joel Peoples careened his car through a crowded Sunnyvale intersection, sending bodies flying through the air, the 34-year-old Sunnyvale resident with a history of mental illness praised Jesus, according to investigators and a witness.

“Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus,” a witness said Peoples moaned after emerging from his wrecked car Tuesday night just feet from a crooked line of crumpled bicycles and mangled, bloody bodies. Peoples was arrested at the scene, and police, who said they believe his actions were intentional but not a terrorist attack, booked him on suspicion of eight counts of attempted murder. They said he did not express remorse.

Nobody died. Thank you Jesus.

But I'll be watching for updates, Jesus.

was he saying "thank you jesus for the number i got" or "thank you jesus for the number i missed"? there's a distinction, you know. let's ask jesus.

This thread is mighty sparse, we know why...

Because the driver is mentally ill. Praising Jesus could have been asking forgiveness also. Or it could mean nothing at all and just a coping phrase due to stress.

Rory, and the police who say the driver did not express remorse are blind to such possibilites. Rory for his agenda, and police need to examine the scene at face value.

Same as Allahu Akbar.

Soon as I said this, the predictable ones crawled in.

Plus how many white guys are named Isaiah?

Like the other GB deplorables, lil' Lance wants to create the false narrative that I hate all white people. So, as per usual, he jumped the gun.

(But he doesn't get to shoot it very often, so...) :D

No, he is not saying that. Have your college-educated friends explain it to you in more detail but let me give you the basics:

He is saying that you frequently see things through the filter of race as black and white and that you specifically would likely have had no interest in this story whatsoever if it were not a white person committing this act. His mistake was not accounting for your pro-Muslim, anti-Christian virtue signaling as agreed upon within your chosen tribe.

You seem to like white people just fine as long as they support your racially driven worldview. Nothing in what he had to say suggested whether you do or don't like any particular white person, much less did he imply you hate all white people.

It's pretty clear though that you envy all white people no matter what their station in life because that's an essential component in believing the wildly stupid idea, racist idea of white privilege, but nothing in that post addressed any of that.

I'm sorry you are having such a bad day.

What not declare victory on a few threads maybe do some post counts and scamper on your way with a cheerful heart?

If someone claps back against melanophobia, then certain people on the far right label him or her a racist, and will intensely aim to bully that person, including cyberstalk. Meanwhile, they would, of course, never call out the higher amount of hatred from their side.

That's how it works around here with a certain crew. It's a game.

So is it lack-a-melanophobia when you assume that all white people (including Obama voters) are necessarily Trump supporters, and by extension racists?

You frequently excuse your behavior by calling everything that you do clapping back when you frequently give first offense. Why is that?

Other than being white and patronizing a Mexican food restaurant (that I'm sure the owners of which were grateful for the business) they did nothing at all to justify you glaring at them. You weren't "clapping back" at them unless you feel that you can justify all hateful acts at all white people as clapping back for the injustices that you fantasize that someday you will actually experience firsthand.

You were in so early on this story, have been on a tear about deplorable gun violence and still haven't had anything at all to say about the latest mass school shooting.

Why?

We know why.
