Bunch of rich white women moping around feeling sorry for themselves. What, am I supposed to give a shit? Almost made me long for the days of old when people had real problems, like whether they were gonna have enough to eat that day. Damn!
What it could have used is some gunfire and exposions. How about if a band of Nazi terrorists take over Virginia Wolf's estate, and she has to fight them off John McLain style. Meanwhile Merryl Streep and Julianne Moore travel back in a time machine armed with modern arsenal of machine guns and laser guided munitions to jpin forces with her. OK, so it didn't happen that way, but the movie version of a Beautiful Mind was pretty much completely made up as well. Who cares anyway? I say let's see Virginia Wolf rock and roll!
