There's a plot bunny in this...or at least a joke. From here:

An 18-year-old man reportedly shot himself in the penis and testicles at a party last Thursday in Port St. Lucie, Florida while he was cleaning a recently purchased gun.

Michael Smeriglio initially told police that he had been shot by someone while walking down the street, but police said he changed his story after questioning, according to WKMG Local 6.

According to WTSP, the police also found marijuana in the house when they responded to the call about the gun going off, leading to police arresting the owner of the house, 22-year-old Joseph Lamar James.

It always happens when they're "cleaning" the gun. Doesn't anyone clean unloaded guns?

Tell you the truth I'm pretty sure 'I was cleaning it' is actually the standard excuse for a gun going off and hitting the wrong person. Sometimes the right person but they were not attacking the shooter at the time so 'I was cleaning it and it just went off'.

Since pot was found at the house where the moron shot himself I'm sure it was something along the lines of check out my new piece, I'm such a badass ganger now, watch. :caning:
