Male vs Female Perspective: Which Do You Prefer?

I write from a man's point of view... but that's because women don't have perspectives. Its a lack of options, really.

. . .. ... .....

Actually, I don't really know why I write from a man's POV. I just got through writing moreso from a woman's POV in my latest. First time I've ever done that, I think. And it was also third-person--may be the first time I've done that, too.

I prefer third person. Maybe that'd be the omniscient transgender perspective? If so... creepy.

I seem to write about 50% of each, maybe a slight bias towards the female perspective.

I decide early which character is the lead, and tell the story from his or her perspective (even the third-person ones).

As for how I choose the lead - well, I'm not entirely sure...

females

I rarely venture into male perspectives. I prefer to leave their motivations a mystery :)
