As you're a guy you could probably use hair removal cream with no ill effects get the sensitive stuff.

been shaving there for years, just do it when i'm showerin'...
reason: i know that i don't like stray hair when i'm down
playin'...i like the grass cut low(kid rock)..so i know that the
ladies don't pick out hair...just keep the area wet & soapy
when shavin'....1st couple times it might itch some but u
will get use to it

use a blade similar to the mach3, some conditioner as a lubricant, and when done and dry, finish off with a liberal sprinkling of witch hazel. its been working for me for several years. i shave every other day and experience no bumps, no itching, just smooth pleasure!
