Male Pets

Ok, the story would be set in the future and women will have taken control of civilizaion. Men would be reduced to pets and sex objects and be treated like animals are treated. Not so much abused but just treated like normal pets. Kept on a leash, naked and made to eat out of dog food bowls etc. When sick they would be taken to highly skilled female vets instead of regular doctors. Sex between a man and a woman would still go on but it would be looked down on and considered a form of bestiality so women would do it but only in secret and not talk about it out in the open. The official way to reproduce would be with artificial insemination and there would be places set up where men are used only for sperm production and the female doctors would collect the sperm. The future women will have developed a plan for baby gender selection and normal women would be allowed to have female babies but the women in prison would be forced to have male babies as part of their punishment and that will keep the male population going. Once the males are born they would be turned over to the state and either kept by the government or sold. Lesbian sex would be legal and a male pet could legally have sex with another male pet but sex between men and women would be kept a dirty little secret. Ok, the more detailed I try to make this the more I realize it makes no sense. Oh well.

You've set a very elaborate logical scene in the future. What's missing is the story. What happens in this world to "upset the apple cart" so to speak.

Would you want to read about a group of males uprising, a la "Planet of the Apes"? A bored woman that experiences "bestiality"?

You, or anyone else for that matter, could take this world and make several stories, or even novels from it.

I agree that this idea is a good one. Like Chatbug said, if there is a desire for a series many stories could be written in this theme.
