Seriously....
watching or being with a kid. They have such an imagination and wonder for life. No matter where I am...I'll watch (and envy!) a kid for just a second or two. Their smile...and laugh...does it to me every time.
Except when they're bawling their ass off in line at the grocery store...I don't smile at all then!!!
Oh...since I am a dog lover....a stupid floppy ol' dog will do it to me too!

Walking on the beach, standing under the patio during a gentle rain, taking a walk in the woods, running my hand over velvet, listening to the birds chirp outside my window, remembering a joke days later ( I don't always get them right away), being hugged by a friend or lover. List is longer but I will let someone else smile now.

Just happened. Got a phone call. Made me forget that I sliced my thumb at work today. That I don't feel well. He made me forget the chill in the air. I'm pretty sure, when ever we talk, you can hear...the smiles across the wire.

Not to depress the situation. But seriously enough the main thing that would make me smile and forget everything for a second would be to see my oldest son just one more time and give him a hug and tell him how much we love him and miss him. (He was murdered last November by his girlfriend and life has been chaotic since then). On a happier note another reason to smile is to see the smiling face of my 3yr old playing without a care, or just to see my husband getting home from work so we can spend time together.SexuallyGifted said:
