Feeling kinda dumb here, but how do I make a link to my story?

OK, the simplest way is to copy the URL of your story. Then go User CP, top left. Go to Edit Signature on the left-hand side and click on that. A box will open. Paste the URL on that and it will show up in your signature as the URL. You can of course add the title of your story in front of that to make it clearer.

Or, if you want to get fancy, make the title your link. Once you are into the Edit Signature box, type the title. Highlight it. Now go up to the toolbox at the top of the box. One of the icons is a little globe with a short chain in front of it. Click that. Another box will open, into which you paste the story URL. Once that gets up, what will show is the title of your story. Anybody clicking on it will be led to your story.

Welcome, by the way. And it wasn't a dumb question. The ways of this site are not entirely intuitive and newcomers almost always need advice.

Do a simple google search for “BBcode”. There’s a lot of information for different things that you can do.

To post a link that just appears as a couple of words such as

”Google Search”
