Make-up--Bleh!

I reckon people would dig me even less if I didn't apply it everyday.........

Mr. Fly doesn't like make up either. I've already gotten the lecture to prove it.

And I'm one of those people that deems make up neccesary. I even know some men who would benefit...

Not for me

Maybe I'm just getting lazy with age. . .but, I wear very little makeup anymore. I prefer the "natural" look and my skin feels healthier.

I like to cake it on with lots of bright orange lipstick and big hair...and it's best when the mascara clumps up.

I bet at least half the people you don't think wear it, do.

I so very very rarely wear it, even the picture that I show people is me with no make up, I figure why show something that doesn't depict what I truly look like.

It feels icky on my skin and my hands are forever on my face and in my hair.

Dawn

I usually just wear mascara, blush and lipgloss...any more than that is just too high-maintenance for me.

It's funny though cuz most guys say they don't like a lot of makeup on girls but then they're drooling all over babes in mags and movies (like hello you should see them au naturel...).

Agree with you Georgia.

Whenever I've tried to wear make-up I just don't look like me.

True, Lisa

But it's nice to hear from some guys on the lit who see the beauty in au naturel.

Sort of depends...

...what you're used to.

I moved to England several years ago and my adorable, lovely wife seldom wears makeup. Oh, make no mistake she's very high maintenance but I think I'm the one who foots the bill.

Many women here wear little or no makeup and at first it seemed odd. After a few months it seemed the "normal" thing and my perceptions of beauty changed.

Now when I return to the states I find the women (Oh do forgive me for saying this--it's so unfair) often look like clowns. In that effort to get a peaches and creme look it just looks--well--like a bad paint job.

Yes, au naturale is fine by me...

I very rarely if ever wear makeup. The normal everyday look is so muchh better and easier.

Well, damnit...

I guess I am just one of those high-maintanence lesbian American women. Damn me. :) But you know... I don't look like a clown. :)

I wear it when I feel like it, and I don't when I don't. I'm not into wearing it because society says I have to. I don't wear it because my bf likes it, or my parents like it. I do what I want with my face.

No, I don't dig a lot of make-up on a woman. She can look just as sexy with her natural face. The primary exception is girls going for a goth look. Then I don't mind.

Most of the time I like women much better without it.

A little eye make-up and some lip color can go a long way, under the right circumstances and can really bring out a woman's best.

Just don't be using a bunch of "foundation" and other junk if you want me kissing on you, though. It really tastes bad...

Yeah. I can stand a bit of eyeliner, but foundation or lipstick/gloss...no thanks. I'd rather taste her actual taste...not some shit made in a factory.

And why are shiny lips so fucking popular these days?

I don't wear makeup all that often. Usually I'll put some on if I'm going somewhere or I have an interview. My partner loves to see me in red lipstick and nothing else ;)

Don't know about the shiny part, but there's something about a well-chosen shade of lipstick that makes me pay attention.

As to taste... I'm with ya 100% RastaPope. Women taste great all on their own. *slurp*
