I know the Primaries are for the Parties to anoint their next in lines, and as an Independent, I don't get to vote in them in my State... but I'm so sick and tired of hearing about what a bunch of hay-seeds in fly-over country have to say about politics. Most people live in the cities and on the coasts. Who cares what someone in Iowa wants?
Further - even if I did sell out and join one of the two Parties, it wouldn't matter because the candidates already have the nomination locked up by the time the vote gets to my state.
