55-year-old Texas man was arrested after his gun discharged in an elementary school, leaving him with a gunshot wound to his leg, authorities said.

The incident reportedly triggered a lockdown at Duff Elementary School in Arlington shortly before noon Thursday.

ABC News identified the gunman as Anthony White, who is a parent to a student at the school. Police said the gunfire was not intentional and the shooter did not act with malice.
