Make me an offer I can't refuse.

Depends on what I'm shooting with. The Garand is too long for me, I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn was I in it. The Mossberg is great, but only because it's a shotgun. Gimme a pistol that's not like a Ruger SP101 or the like and I can hit within a half inch nearly every time. Generally.

KM-

I love my old Garand. What a perfect rifle. Got it from DCM about seven years ago, and it's still my favorite, even with it's worn parkerizing and mismatched walnut and beech stocks. There's an old saying: "beware the man that own only one rifle- he probably knows how to use it." I own more than one rifle, but my Garand is the one that feels like a part of me. I can throw it up to my shoulder and hit that 400 yard steel plate offhand every time. I revel in the looks I get from guys with $2000 scoped Weatherbys that can't do it from a rest. It's priceless.
