Major troll sweep or something?

Maybe I'm imagining it, but one of the toplists looks very different today (June 1), with the scores much lower. Anyone else notice something?

My new story dropped from 4.76 to 4.66 since Wednesday night. I didn't pay attention to the # of votes it had then, but I think it would have taken some good quantity of 1 bombs to do that.

There was a massive sweep, several of mine jumped up and a few dropped a tenth or so due to double votes. The jumpers, save one, were almost immediately re-trolled naturally.

Half a dozen stories which are non-sequencial parts of series, including no ch. 1's, getting the exact same 3 vote in five to ten minutes when they're 4-7 Lit pages stinks of troll. I find it hard to believe that several people were reading through them and all finished one behind the other to legitimately rate them 3's, with parts before and after those voted upon unchanged.

I'd guess that they are cleaning things up to catch up on the monthly winners, which are running behind.

I haven't had vote numbers change, just ratings. And all of those dropped, so if they're doing a sweep, something is screwy.

Nah...I've had a score drop by .23 points from a single vote. It depends on how many vote you've got and how many of thise are 5s before the 1 bomb.

Definitely a troll sweep

My Romance story just went back up to where it was last week. It was at 4.92, then received 4 low votes in a row (the voting had slowed down to where I knew a single vote had come in). Every vote dropped the score until I was back in the middle of the pack. I knew it had to be BS because after 300 votes, the ratio was something like twelve 100% to every one 75% just to stay the same. Four low votes in a row seemed awfully suspicious.

I don't know if it will stay up there, but thanks to the folks at Lit for being so vigillant.

Swept again today, all the re-trolled stories restored and several more had some low votes shot down in flames it seems. The other sweep must have taken out the multi-5's, because nothing dropped today.

Color me happy, because the stories up in the toplist now might just attract some new readers and new feedback to help me find all the quirks in my writing and fix them :D
