Alexandria Lavoue (Alex) sat in her office. The various books sat in a variety of stacks of various height. a few loose pieces of paper rested on her table in the center. Victorian era furniture rested in a few places. The red head cocked a brow as she looked over her black book.
The succulent woman let her fingers flipped another page as she sighed. She really needed an assistant. Such trivial matters as a ledger was for them to do. And to sully her time to do so made her work less effective. So here she sat looking over her appointments noting that her next one would be here soon. In doing so she would wish to maybe clean up the place the various curios she had accumulated via jobs as well as the stack of books and the sundry papers here and there.
As she stood she noted a few pieces of random clothing she had taken off when she had been in the rain the other night. Seriously the towels should have been restocked but instead they remained laundered so she had to air dry. At least she found in her closet an old pair of leather pants and a button up shirt. She seriously needed to find another maid. One that didn't scare so easily at ghosts and talking vegetables. Still a possible aide was coming she knew it form her ledger and well that fact she felt a change in the winds.
Almost on cue her door opened letting the little bells ring to tell her someone had entered. Her wards held so she knew them to be human. She put adjusted her glasses and headed from her parlor past her study to the entry way that doubled as a small office. aside from the dust the room was impeccably clean and organized. She stood behind her desk and looked at her guest. "Welcome to the House of Mystery, I am Madame Lavoue Mistress of this establishment, please do tell me what brings you or my humble business? Is it for a divination or something more mysterious?" She said with a sultry tone trying to sell her mystique.
