That depends on whether you're sensitive to it or not.

The instructions tell you to do a patch test before using the product and it's an absolute necessity -- there's a thread from about 18 months ago by cymbidia detailing her disastrous results from ignoring the patch test.

For some people, Magic Shave causes chemical burns that can be very severe.

However, Magic Shave (tm) is formulated to solve the problems many Black men have with sensitive skin and "shaving bumps" and is generally the least caustic depilitory available for most people -- no harder on the body than washing your hands with Lysol (tm) instead of hand soap would be.

So are we talking about using this product instead of a razor to clean the hair off one's balls etc.? I did the shaving thing a few days ago and the results are not all I expected. Could use some clean up with a more thorough device.

As long as you don't have sensitive sin, this stuff is good. When you clean it off, be gentle. Don't be too rough as your skin is still going to be even a little sensitive.

Also, I notived for the first time, that if you let it sit around a while, it doesn't have as much of an affect. So make sure you clos eit up tight and store it well between uses.

I use it more for the hard to reach spots. Anything I can see, I am better off just shaving.

In previous dioscussions, the head of a rubber-maid (tm) (or cheap imitation) bottle spatula has been recommended as nearly ideal. (That's the rubber spatula that's about 1 inch by 1/2 inch.)

Others have recommended an old credit card or expired phone card.

Magic Shave

Having been a shaver for almost three years straight, I was wondering if Magic shave was better then Nair for men or just my normal Mach Three razor. I shave about once a week and have even thought about having the area Lasered off.

Has anybody had laser removal of hair from the Pubic area and with what results. Good or Bad , I would think it would be embarrasing to go to a clinic and ask for this type of work to be performed on a Man.

I'm in the magic camp too, but I've found that the shave minimizing lotions work too. It takes quit a while to see a difference but they work. I've been using the Jergen's brand.
