This is such a basic children tale derived idea, or rather, a class of ideas, I wonder if it is already used and reused uncountable times, but it is also a long standing fantasy of mine, so decided I may share my take on it.
Our classic bullied intellectual wallflower virgin girl with shitty home life, who has no idea how pretty she is, discover magic portal to a place not unlike the very Garden of Eden.
In my original fantasy it was a hollow in a tree in school's park. It can be a false door in a wall behind a fountain, side arch under a little footbridge, whatever. What counts, the portal should be in at least somewhat public place, or at least only accessible by crossing open public space.
A little catch, the portal can only be crossed nude, and the person should willingly undress completely before entering the portal, it wouldn't even exist if any clothed human is in sight of it. Or at least, that's what the girl come to believe. Nothing at all besides the body itself can be carried over. (Don't know about piercings. Nothing excessive for sure, but something little may be accepted.)
There's the first major problem. The girl is shy and repressed, she is hardly a person who will happily streaking through the school's park naked just for the fun of it, not at the first at least. How she discover the portal?
It is, and must be, incredibly improbable event. I would like to set it up as some kind of accident, but don't seem able to get it right. If all else fails, she may get some pointers, be told by someone (as a prank, maybe?), find a legend in the library, overhear something out of context, whatever. Any ideas on this?
Once there, the girl explore the place, and became hooked. She uses any opportunity to return. It seems totally safe, she's alone there (at least initially), and limitless. She also figure out, while she's there, time here passes lot more slowly. An hour out there equal no more five minutes here, or so. It may be more complex than that, it's hard to keep track of time while there.
Also, as more time she spends in the garden, as more beautiful she becomes. While nothing really change, she gains self assurance and confidence, her self image improve, and that have effect on the others.
Now, that's the basic setup. From here, there is a lot of possibilities how to proceed and what can happen.
1. Practical difficulties.
a) Banal, she may have her clothes stolen while out, and forced to have naked adventure in the real world. And/or for the fear of that, she hide her clothes, and not exactly next to the door either; distance she cover nude this side of portal may increase over time, to great lengths eventually.
b) She can get caught naked just after exiting, and humiliated.
c) She may even be punished by forcing her to remain naked in public setting, what she end up loving.
2. Portal problems.
a) She may accidentally discover another portal(s), leading to a different place, either close or distant part of this world or even yet another world entirely. There may be difficulties to reenter and return.
b) Also, paradise garden may have eject function if you try to make adhoc clothing or do something else wrong, resulting in being dropped out in a random place.
3. New acquaintances.
a) She may meet a stranger in the garden. Probably another outcast from another place. They meet nude, of course, but there little to nothing sexual at first, it is slow build to that. It leads to more practical problems, being tardy on a date in the garden by mere five minutes earth time, means the other have to wait for hours.
b) She can make the error of inviting someone with her, and the friend may invite yet someone else. Not that it becomes crowded, but the group grows, and unexpected dynamics can happen.
c) Someone may stalk her, and follow through. This not necessarily have to end badly, but there great risk of that.
4 Real world extensions.
Her newfound self confidence have an impact. Possibilities are endless here.
Then, it eventually needs to end somehow. I rarely follow it through that long, you may guess why.
5. She does not need the garden anymore.
a) She finds her love, either independently from the garden or hooks up with garden friend this side.
b) Garden case to exist or she gets banned from it. Losing virginity comes as logical cause, but I doubt we want to use that. Maybe, she gets a tattoo, and thus lose ability to be fully nude (yes, I hate tattoos).
c) She became a happy full time nudist, basically bringing the garden out.
6. Deconstruction / absurditization
a) She found a nudist resort chain using the garden as one of attractions and means of transportation between distant locations.
b) There no magic. The garden is very real private garden, and the nudity requirement was delusion.
I may, eventually, write something on this, but if anyone wants to take a try, I'm not against. There a lot of space for interpretation.
